Unfortunately, Williams doesnt have great power at 147, so i think moving up would only make that more apparent. I think he is good to stay at 147. He should try for a shot at Mayweather. Personally, I would like him to give Marg a rematch, but i dont think he has to. I think it would be better to try to get to mayweather first before any rematch, because I think he has better chances against PBF than in a rematch with Marg. If williams would work on his power he would be a dominating force, but I think Marg showed that if you just dont worry about getting hit a lot by his punches you can get in and do damage. It took Marg too long to figure that out, but now your Cottos, Cintrons, and Mosleys know that, and that could spell trouble for PWill in the future.

I disagree with the severity of your statement. First off, since you have an obvious biased towards Williams your argument has no relevance. Actually it was convincingly disproven by whoever commented about his decision against Margarito and his inability to hurt him. To be objective, even though I favor Cintron I think Williams lacks the power to knock Cintron out but most definitely is capable of throwing more punches with accuracy and defeating him in a decision. That's where I think he'll make it hard for Cintron because he will undoubtedly keep that jab in his face.

Secondly, enough with comments about the beatdown Margarito gave Cintron. He looked good in his last fight and no one can deny that. That knockout was brutal. I think Manny Steward is doing a good job with Cintron and now he has something to prove. Stop comparing Cintron to what he used to because the circumstances have changed.

just because i am a Skinny Pun fan, dont mean i cant make an impartial opinion on a fight, and williams would beat the brakes off of cintron. williams has more to offer in a fight than cintron. cintron got a ton of power and manny steward, and he is a cryer. williams is more skilled, faster, taller and longer, no slouch in the power department(he has 24 KOS in 33 fights), stamina for days. full 12 round fight, williams wins 99 out of 100.

Dan Rafael's description of Pun in his divisional rankings on the 4 letter website.

            4. Paul Williams (33-0)

"The Punisher" got his title when he outpointed Antonio Margarito in an exciting fight on July 14. But title or no title, Williams isn't going to have any easier of a time getting big-time matches because nobody wants to rumble with a young, STRONG, 6-foot-2 southpaw with the stamina to fight all day and night. We'd like to see him unify belts with Kermit Cintron.
