    I think the quality of the fighters in MMa is so far below the quality of the boxers today its sickening. How many here believe Hambone or whatever his name is would have done against say Sam Peter instead of an ancient Ray mercer.

    I will be writting a long and ugly post about it soon, but the gist is-Hell no-MMA is nowhere near what Boxing is!

      Great point!

        I love when they roll around on the groun in mma! Something about two hot sweaty half naked men riding and dry humping style.

          You still TALKING that noise? I've been telling you for months if you feel MMA guys are such talentless bums to take your ass into an MMA school and drop a challenge. Please tape it and post it for my amusement too.

          You may not like grappling, but it takes skill. You do realize Judo and Wrestling are Olympic sports, right?

              Neither are lazy, they both find ways to catch their breath with is bound to happen but both sports' athletes have to stay focused at all times or they will be paying for it.

                It is unfair to say boxing is more lazy because of the gloves.
                I can say MMA fighters grab,and hold on the ground for 5 min. before the ref intervenes,that doesn't make it lazy does it?

                Respect both sports for what they are.
                MMA can't compete with Boxing and vise versa.

                      I can't say for sure who's more lazy, I WILL say MMA fighters tend to get winded MUCH quicker then boxers. They grapple/tie up and wrestle on the ground.. HOWEVER.. Even when they go for stand up.. their mouths are hanging open.

                      In terms of technique.. Boxing RULES.. I'm going to tell that Chinese Story.. lol..

                      A duck waddles up to a horse and mocks it for not being able to do the three things that the duck can do. The duck can walk on land like the horse, and fly like the eagle.. and swim like the fish. Then the horse says you can't run as fast as me, or swim as smoothly as the fish, and can't fly as high as the eagle.

                      ROLL CREDITS..

                      Duck = MMA..
                      Horse = Boxing..

                      Point is.. concentrate your energies. MMA fails to do that.
