You can't take too ****ing many shots on the mouth bare knucked man.

2? 3? Ok. not 5, 10, 20. With gloves on...........the impact is great yes...and you feel the shock. But you don't start to fracture like you would getting hit with bare knuckles. That's a whole new ballgame.

Every StrretFight I've seen no one gets K.O! K.D yes but not K.O and the fight always has to come into an agreement weather the other guy wants to continue or not. Head Hunting leads to exhaustion then you got 2 fighters fighting as if the fight went into 12 rounds when its just started. May not work well for other people but I find body punching more affective. You have to lean you head on your opponent and make sure you have you defensive hand up. I like to hook with my right hand and have my left hand covering my right cheek while my left shoulder are up...This way your well protected and can take out any dude if you pack a great punch and I for one pack a really good punch.

You wouldn't be able to hurt a bodybuilder in the body though.
How do you work it wouldnt hurt a body builder? I bet if you caught even ronnie coleman with a body shot then he'd drop like a bad habbit.
No matter how much strength you have in your abs and core, if you get caught hard enough and in the right position you're going to go down.

Mmmm if your gonna have time to look for a body shot, Then ya best off doing some grapling!! While your looking to throw that punch to the body your gonna take more than a few to the head, And whats to say that your gonna land it where its most effective..I wouldnt dream of going to the body unless te guy was bent over with his back facing towards the sky then maybe smash the body left and right.

From a boxer absolutely. I don't think people realize how hard a trained boxer can hit.

I was in a street fight a couple of weeks ago and I layed the guy out with one right cross...

So no you dont really need to go to the body because if you learnt any boxing technics it will be easy just to KO the guy with one powerful blow...

In street fights guys tend to throw really wierd akward looping punches so its easy to just sneak in a right hand.

I think in a street fight, a body shot is just as effective as a hit to the face. If you hit someone with a straight right hard shot right in the middle, right between the ribs. It will leave the opponent stunned and breathless.

I would say that it is probably effective, but because most idiots on the street can be deterred with a couple of punches to the face it's easier to throw out a couple of jabs and maybe a right hand.

Most guys will double right over with a strong punch to their midsection. Unless they are in real good shape you can often feel their backbone at the end of the punch. Backboners end up on the ground almost immediately and the fight's over.

I can recall at least 3 times where a sucker punch to the bread basket (stomach) has helped me out of some bad situations where I was about to be pummeled by 3 or 4 guys lol....so yeah, body shots can be VERY effective.
