Roll on December the 8th and Ricky blowing the whole American hype machine wide open for the scam it is.
If your best I believe the rest should come to u, therefore everyone whos called out Joe should come to Wales, why should he leave there. The Jones' and Hopkins of this world are just hyped up yellow bellies
Even going to a different city gives or takes away a home court advantage here.. You don't need to travel too far to have a disadvantage, but I think American fighters would go if they felt the fighter was worth it. Why go fight Hatton in the U.K. If you have bigger dogs like Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, and Mayweather here?? And American fighters do go to the U.K. to fight Jeff Lacey and Manfredo to naem some recent ones.. U.K. fighter rarely come here..
If it was a guy like Lennow Lewis no one would be critisizing.. You guys get too cought up in pulling that "its because they are from the U.K." **** that you dont realise that its realise that its because of lack of fighting good talent.
Lennox is awesome or was awesome I should say.. I never had no beef with the boy because he fought some awesome opponents.

Naw I actually could care less if a fighter was British or not. If I made a list of my top 10 favorite fighters, Hatton would be thrown in there somewhere. He's a great fighter and a funny guy. Or should I say "cheeky bastard" as you green teefed f*gs put it.

Hatton will get my full respect if he beats Floyd, hell even if he makes it a good fight he will have my respect. Cal is trying to get Hopkins to fight in Wales to, he loses respect for that one also. People in America, though still fighting in their own country, are NOT in their own backyard most times, hell you face Gatti in Atlantic City and I guaranteed you get booed like you were fighting in another country.

I don't feel bad for the guy one bit because I bet that accent got him all the ***** in the world. The girls flocked to the foreign exchange students in my school.

None at all. Just let him be a good fighter. Hamed's one of my all time favorites.

I have no problem with British fighters. It's just that, a lot of them seem to be sheltered and then exposed when they come over to the states. I give credit where credit is due, Hatton has started to fight EXCLUSIVELY in the States, and against who HBO has wanted to see him fight. He's tried to make compelling fights, I tip my hat.

In terms of Calzaghe, he gets my respect, but wont have it completely until he has a meaningful fight against a U.S. fighter. (Example.. Hopkins.. Tarver.. Dawson.. Wright.. Taylor/Pavlik) he doesn't HAVE to fight in the states, but he should fight American fighters. In my personal opinion, American fights have a more diverse choice of styles. Considering, you have fighters from different backgrounds, and training situations, as well as techniques. Not to mention Puerto Rican and Mexican fighters. (Who I classify as American fighters, because they make their money in the States.)

I'm not saying all British fighters fight the same, I'm just saying more people come to the States to fight, so you're bound to have more/different styles. I still gie Joe credit for stepping up against Lacy, and now Kessler. I hope he has a big fight with a state-side fighter or two, and I'll take nothing away from him.

Then, you look at someone like Amir Khan, who is young. We'll see about him.

As far as "The Prince".... Fought one BIG fight in the States and... well.. I think we all remember that. Just depends on the fighter. I don't judge his hometown. I really don't.
