My Dearest Eric,

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that over the past decade or so, most of the top guys from 160 to 175 found a way to fight each other. Jones, Toney, Hopkins, Griffin, Tarver, Johnson, Winky, Taylor, Hill, etc.

Somehow, Calzaghe remained excluded from all that competition. I would think that Calzaghe would strive mightily to make a fight happen with any of those guys. He hasn't.

as of right now he is. right now most people would not give calzaghe credit for beating jones but him beating a young undefeated champion in kessler would be very good for calaghe.

if calazghe were to beat jones people would just say that roy was old and washed up

Then after claiming he wanted the fight, he turns down a fight with jones at home to fight Kessler, and if you know kessler, you know kessler aint beat no one worth mentioning.

kessler is a bigger fight for calzaghe right now than jones is, just like hatton has not done **** but floyd chooses to fight him because right now he is a big payday and he has a lot of people thinking he's better than he really is

That is exactly my point!! Why do they have to go to Wales?

Hopkins, Jones, Winky , Tarver, etc are all PPV fighters here in the states. Why would they go to Wales to fight at 2am when there are big money fights HERE. If Calzaghe wanted to prove he was the best, you go to where the best are. That's not a pro-American view. it's just logic.

Calzaghe is a good fighter. But history will not be kind to him. And it's all his fault.
