My vote is for Hector "Macho" Camacho Sr.

The guy was just brilliant, but he never took that extra step needed to become a true great.

Ike Ibuchia ( however you spell his last name) Here was a guy that was taking the HW division by storm. His dumbass ways got him into some deep ****. He is really a waste of talent IMO. What a dumbass!!

IMO, neither Sanders, Tyson, or Judah were guilty of completely wasting their talent, as they all were champions at one time. One doesn't reach that level of success by wasting their talents. They all had belts at one point. Could they have succeeded more than they did? Yes.

But I think that this thread is asking who we think of when we think about fighters that never made it to the level they were capable of. Kevin McBride or Jameel McCline, for example. Never a champion, but could have been if trained properly and focused and dedicated enough.

Zab... i truely think that if he had a better trainer in his corner, he will be able to beat anyone in 140 & 147lbs division (including PBF).

Yeah Douglas is another wasted talent, bit like Rid**** Bowe both just couldn't be bothered to train, and rather fill their fat guts.

oovavu - I think Tony Booth is not a wasted talent, more of a waster in fact. By the look of him he liked to fill his gut as well, so it was him who ate all the pies.
