As far as Clottey, i might get a lot of **** for this, but i think he is overrated. I thought he lost that fight to that Gutirrez guy on Boxing After Dark. The fight Cintron was supposed to be in. Cintron should beat Clottey. Very good match-up though. Im glad to see boxers manning upo and taking tough fights these days.
I know we all have our differences of opinions but calling Clottey overrated just doesn't make any logical sense. When I last checked, Clottey doesn't get hardly any buzz or marketing hype like some of your young and undefeated prospects of today (Andre Burto, Andre Ward, Jean Pascal, Joe Green, etc.).

More accurately speaking, Joshua Clottey is one of your more UN-derrated fighters and I believe this is his coming out party. Cintron and Manny have probably bitten off more than they can chew this time. But we will see.

Well what i mean is not based on fan base or the amount of people who know him. I mean his skills are overrated, in my opinion. People who do know him, describe him as a very dangerous fighter who is very talented and think he can beat a lot of top fighters. I disagree with that. That is just my opinion. I like the guy tho, hes in excitng fights. But all he did was lose to Margarito, and beat a blown up Chico (R.I.P), and i thought he lost the fight to Gutirrez. I didnt see his most recent fight vs Flores so i cannont comment on that, but i heard he wasnt that impressive.

Either way, Cintron-Clottey = fireworks, im looking forward to that one.

I think Clottey suffers from being a good fighter .. but the champions at the weight class just happen to be better than him.

good points about Clottey. he is pretty solid (especially defensively).. but I think his hands could really hold him back. (he did break them vs Margarito)

sure Clottey lost to Margarito .. but you did notice that despite the bad hands .. Clottey was still able to go the distance .. because of his good D.

his last fight he started out strong, kinda tired a bit in the middle rounds (he didn't punch as much there either).. and finished slightly strong, landing occasional hard shots in the later rounds.

but the key to Clottey is his hands .. his last fight vs Florres he started to slap his punches a bit .. could that be to use less energy in case he fears injuring them?

              Cintron is average.

Last I checked, Guttierez was a pretty solid prospect. If you ask me me, Cintron is overrated and Clottley will, as Jay-Z once famously said, "Expose him to those that don't know him." Cintron wins a few fights versus a couple of burgers and all the sudden he is hot ****. Clottey is very good fighter who just needs the right person(Cintron) to prove it against. Perhaps you all have forgotten but up until he broke his hand, he was in complete control of that fight with Margarito.

Is he just going to stay home and cry over the Williams decision in the meantime?

This is disappointing - but props to Cintron and Clottey for being willing to fight each other...
I think he is going to fight Judah, Hopefully on the Mayweather/Hatton undercard.

His style will be a little tough early for Paulie, but I think that once fatigue becomes a factor Paulie's greater professionalism will take over and carry him to the decision.
Herman's problem will be he is far to slow of feet and paulie will move and box circles around him all night.

clottey will be a good test for Cintron to see if Cintron can avoid Clottey's attack and still show the devasting power that he seems to be developing under Steward. Of course Cintron is a long lean welter and Clottey is a good body puncher. Great matchup I would give the edge to Clottey although he seems to take too many punches throughout his fights.
