      ****!

This fight would've been great for the Cotto-Mosley undercard...Isn't Clottey a Top Rank fighter?

        yeah Clottey is top rank.

at least he gets his title shot though/

but the Welterweight division probably has the best 4 champions for any weight class.

Cotto- can be dropped cuz of his chin, but he comes forward and breaks down your body

Mayweather- probably the best in the sport

Williams - tall lanky fighter. hard to beat cuz he throws so many damn punches

Cintron- very powerful puncher .. could improve even more under Manny Steward

out of the 4 champs .. Clottey has the best shot vs Cintron, in my opinion

Hell of a fight card. Judah should step in against Collazo on the Cotto/Mosley undercard.

I see Cintron winning this fight. Clottey didn't like to get hit by Margaritos punchs, he'll find it less his liking getting hit by Cintron.

Clottey is one of the best inside fighters in the welterweight division, if the fight ends up in that area, it will be right into Clottey's hand, Cintron has to keep his distance and use his power to control pace and distance, this is a damn good fight.

Fights like these are what boxing needs. Too much matchmaking in boxing. Most of the big fights are usually made out for one persons advantage. If everybody fought everybody there would be no reason for having to have an undefeated record.

It just boggles my mind hearing a belt holder basically call someone a bum because of their record.

I think the way it should be is if you have an undefeated fighter on TV, you should expect to see the best or one of the best boxers out there. But you have 35-0 boxers these days that have barely fought someone with a winning record.

I dont judge my favorite boxers on their record I judge that on how exciting their fights are. Prob my favorite boxer for the past few years has been emmanuel augustus and he has a bad record, but hes fought some huge names and had a lot of bad decisions. Jermain Taylor has a good record, but from the two or three fights of his I have watched I will never pay to watch him fight again because it bores me.

More respected for fighting Matthysse and Clottey than Cotto for fighting Judah and Mosley? I think he is still a few steps behind Cotto. As far as Clottey, i might get a lot of **** for this, but i think he is overrated. I thought he lost that fight to that Gutirrez guy on Boxing After Dark. The fight Cintron was supposed to be in. Cintron should beat Clottey. Very good match-up though. Im glad to see boxers manning upo and taking tough fights these days.
