The fight now is at 147. Hatton is going to make him work big time.

You either are a hater and dont know boxing. He was hurt against Castillo and if u dont believe that just watch the rematch . And as for Floyd not being a good inside fighter thats a laugh watch his fights against Ndou or Chavez he is a great inside fighter. And for the 147 weight it is a factor because Floyd is noticable bigger at 147 and has adjusted to the weight and Hatton will be slower. I weager all my point against all your points that FLoyd wins, by Ko or tKO. PEace

Nope, I still don't think Hatton will have problems at 147 on 12/8..

I think a lot of people are forgetting that Hatton will not be trying to put the weight on but try to fight his own fight.

Hatton will probably try to go forward no matter what and if he gets some decent body shots in Mayweather will feel it.

I think Hatton will prob have him on the floor once, and will open the fight right up, but Mayweather will still get the points win by standing off and fighting on the outside.

Hatton punches as hard as a middleweight, he has a very good chance if he can pop some of them in, but just has to have the right timing against someone as pure class as Mayweather

I don't think the weight will be a factor. Also you can't really say who is the better in fighter between them because they're styles to in fighting are different. By that I mean Hatton likes to tie up one arm throw a few punches, get broken up jump back on the inside and throw a few punches with both arms free before he ties his man up again. PBF style of in fighting is trying to slip the opponents punches then throw counter punches use his opponents leverage against them to spin them around get them off balance and throw more punches. Two different styles of in fighting both are effective for each fighter. The difference is if Hatton wins the battle of in fighting early PBF can choose to out box him the rest of the fight. If PBF wins early with his in fighting style Hatton can not stand outside and outbox PBF.

This post is complete Mayweatherite bull****. I can understand some that are picking Mayweather in this fight, hell he's going to be the favorite. But, to consider Collazo as the holy grail example of Hatton at his worst, is fantasy. IF anything, that fight gives me more confidence in Hatton.

Mayweather stepped into the ring with ODH and weighed 149 ,,, Ricky stepped into the ring with Castillo and weighed 150 .

Both of them are not welters but jnr welters that just happen to be fighting for the welter title on paper ,,, they could be fighting for the middleweight title on paper and are still both stepping in at about 150 ,,,, the weight means nothing in this fight .

Floyd would beat Collazo with a hand behind his back , just like Mosley showed that Luis is a step below the elite ,, thing is floyd has fought and beat pressure fights , Ricky has not been in with anything near Floyds ability .

Something tells me Ricky's gonna show Floyd a little respect until he gets in close, then try to open up on Floyd to try and take him out early.

But, once Ricky feels Floyd's power and command, he'll play it cautious throughout most of the fight.

I have a funny feeling Ricky's corner will toss the towel in the ring.

I just can't seem to visualize any other outcome at this moment.

Mayweather will be able to hurt Hatton in the later rounds, because he is coming down from 154, and I think he has grown into a 147 pounder finally. But it's not like this weight advantage is going to be as significant as it is in most fights.
Man, thats the problem. Ricky has ONE fight at 147 and doesn't KO the guy, and all of a sudden -he has no power at that weight.

No sweetheart, that is not what I was saying.

I said that De La Hoya hits harder, because he has 14 more pounds of muscle, and De La Hoya is known as a boxer-puncher (someone who has skills and power). If you think Hatton hits harder than De La Hoya, your ignorance just soared over mine.

Gilbert Arenas next to Yao Ming.
