If Hatton wins December 8th will forever more be a national day of celebration in Britain and will henceforth be known as "Ricky Hatton Day".

Then the PBF nuthuggers will start with the excuses...

          "PBF was robbed"
"PBF came out of retirement, he wasn't at his peak"
"Hatton cheated, he hugged to much"
"PBF was focussing on dancing instead of fighting!"

If PBF loses, you will get ZERO excuses from me. NONE.

If Hatton loses, you will get brutalized by postings in the largest possible font telling you over and over again how Hatton is hot, steaming garbage.

Graham said that he has been planning this Mayweather fight for two years and that he has "a plan". Hatton said that Floyd will look like a "right plonker".

Floyd CLAIMS that Hatton is the most overrated fighter in 25 years...We'll see.

yeah I thought Hatton and his team were scouting Kostya all along. (for what ... 5-6 years?)

I dunno, they can scout and plan all they want, but if Floyd can keep distance, and avoid the body shots, he's halfway home.

*granted its easier said than done. but if you generally compare styles ... fighting a "boxing clinic" oppose to an "all out swarm" .. the "boxing-counter punching" is easier

*especially if you are quick on your feet, and have good movement.

boxing, can not only kill your opponents endurance, but doesn't drain yourself so much.

*hell look at the Baldomir fight. Floyd "boxed the hell" outta Carlos, and didn't look the least bit winded.

at the moment .. its up in the air if Hatton can pull out another Kostya like performance. (that is the exact kind of effort needed for Hatton to win)

keep in mind by December Ricky will be 29 ... 3 years off that 2005 fight with Kostya.

What does this tell you about Floyd then? Seriously if Hatton losing to Floyd makes him "hot steaming garbage" then you must have a pretty low opinion of Floyd's abilities.

And if Hatton wins there will be a rematch which Hatton will lose.

actually this year he will fight twice, more than the last 2-3 yrs for floyd,

I should have written "loses badly".

If Hatton gets slaughtered by a smaller, older guy who is training part-time....

The UK contingent on this board keeps saying that Hatton will either win or give PBF his toughest fight. OK. We will see. tick, tick, tick...
