Sure, there are people that can beat him. It's just not likely.

Just wondering - what do you guys think about Vernon Forrest? I dont see his name being mentioned too much. Not saying he would beat Mayweather, but I'd sure like to see them hook up. I thought he looked great his last fight, but I'm not sure how much you can read into it based on who he was fighting...

If injuries didn't derail Vernon's career I seriously think he could have been one of the greats, well at least one of the best fighters of our era.

It's not mentioned much because Forrest isn't coming back down to 147, and Forrest doesn't have a big enough name for Floyd to jump up to 154... the fight won't happen. It would probably be a good fight though.

I would also like to see Mayweather Jr. vs. Spinks, because that would be a great fight, but certainly not from an excitement standpoint.

Sure someone can beat him. Perhaps it will be Hatton. PBF will be under pressure for this one. Being favourite against a fellow unbeaten fighter. Can he handle being favourite against a guy who he isnt sure if he can beat.
Hes not sure he can beat Hatton cos Hatton handled a guy so easily who PBF had severe trouble with for 2 fights.

He did okay being a favorite against a 33-0 Diego Corrales.

He also could probably give less of a **** that Hatton just beat Castillo. 5 years does a lot to a fighter, and there was a difference in weight class, etc. Not really that useful for comparison.

The only fighters I would favor beating Floyd, was the prime Kostya or Mosly. Williams, Mosly (current version), Cotto, and hatton have the best chance, but i would favor Floyd over any of them.

Either Winky or Hopkins vs. Floyd would be very interesting.
