Shane Mosley accomplished what besides Oscar, what other fighter did he beat to deserve in your opinion to be rated higher than Oscar and at par with Tito. He did not beat any other top guys, no Trinidad,no Quartey and no Whitaker. He beat Rivera who Oscar had beatin ,A.Diaz and lost twice to Forrest. Oscar beat Whitaker ,Quartey and Trinidad. That is as good as it gets for someone that didn't accomplish much at WW. I'm mature, i was just being overly sarcastic.....My bad.

You are making a connection between MY opinion, and my explanation of the RING opinion.

MY opinion is that Shane Mosley has an average legacy. Shane has beat exactly ONE top fighter. Oscar. Twice. Once questionably.

Oscar beat a past-his-prime Pernell. Let's not count that. A prime Pernell would have dusted Oscar off 9 rounds to 3. Oscar's BEST win is Quartey.

In terms of legacy, my personal ranking is:

1: Tito
2: Oscar
3: Shane.

Tito beat Oscar. That is what the record books say, and I can't argue that forever. Personally, I had Oscar winning seven rounds. There are many fights that I see differently than the judges, and I can't argue them all. As long as it wasn't an obvious robbery. Oscar gave away rounds, and has to live with that.

Tito seemed at the time to be the scarier and more "dominant" fighter. And Tito moved up and beat prime Vargas and KO'd Joppyat MW.

I agree with you about your rankings. Oscar has been overated his entire career. He was feeding off of Felix's leftovers for years. And Shane hasn't done much for the past few years. Got lucky and fought a past by sell date Vargas and all of a sudden he is some invincible warrior. I dont buy it.

I get that, but how many fights actually go to the score cards?
