Why do so many people beleive Mosley will defeat Cotto?

Second he can't adapt in a fight(as proven by his fights with Forrest and Winky) and Cotto can.
And finally he might have a tought chin but nobody has a tought body and Cotto will kill his body. So how can Mosley defeat a guy who has more power and skill than he has?

I personally think that Mosley's ribcages are too vunerable.

B/c Cotto is hittable.

I like Cotto, but Mosley has speed, power, and great boxing skill. He'll be able to hit Cotto especially early in the fight. You can't talk about Forrest or Wright b/c Cotto doesn't fight like either of them. I'd say Mosley has a chance to knock Cotto out

I really don't think that Cotto is more skilled then Mosley but it should be a very hard fight for both men .

It could end up a lot like Leonard Vs Hearns in that Cotto is the bigger stronger man who might even outbox Mosley for the most part but Mosley has been there before and can use his speed to pull it off in the end.

why does everybody say mosley cant adapt and doesnt have heart???

mosley vs forrest shane did well even in the disaster, the second fight was very very close for 10 rounds, shane adapted ****ing great, but he couldnt keep it up for the whole 12, he looked winded the last 2 rounds...and that was because vernon always leaned his body on shane when he clinched...

vs wright shane did well the first, 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th and 12th rounds and even in desperation he still had hope and went out ****ing like ****ing crazy with the right hand!!

he did even better in te second fight even though winky was even more effective and accurate with his punches, shane kept it closer in rounds with movement, countering and speed....

oh and people think mosley will beat cotto because cotto is hittable, has never really faced a big welter, mosley has power, handspeed and experience

Wright and Forrest are also taller and bigger man with excellent jabs, who can compete @160 while Cotto is smaller than Mosley

I think because Shane got discouraged in his loses people think he has no heart. Those are two different things because in his loses he still fought hard and tried to compete. It's just that he was frustrated with his lack of success. He always gives an effort that really shows your heart not being discouraged.

How many people has mosley knocked out at welterweight to suggest the power everyone keeps claiming he has. Cotto might be hittable but so is mosley and Cotto hits harder than him and hits harder to the body. I also think Mosley won't be able to adapt to Cotto's ability to change from orthodox to southpaw at will(when Cotto did this in the later rounds against Judah, Judah was completely baffled and overwhelemed not knowing where the next punch was coming from).

He doen't need to hit as hard he just need to be faster and have a better chin on that night .

Power is so damn overrated on here .
