I wish i had time to read your two guys post to see what you are arguing or debating about. Must be important to you two?
Oscar tells Ricky not to lose his head

btw,
On my other forum, I went on the record and predicted an Oscar win. I thought PBF had bit off more than he can chew. Not only was Oscar MUCH bigger, but ODLH was (though past his best) still a very good fighter.
I was wrong...and ****** it up. No prob. I would again.

i think his being stunned by collazo had more to do with his preparation, and fatigue, he was breathing heavy mouth open from about rnd 6 which is not like him as im sure you know! he was coming in straight lines because he was tired and i think thats why he got himself in trouble in the 12th, i think he has a very good chin! hes always had big problems with southpaws, never looked fluent fighting them so i never read to much into that fight! i think he will have to use his jab to get inside and i think he will, he will double up on the jab to get inside not always but he will do it, you cant keep rushing floyd without throwing anything on the way in! there will be times when he uses his good footwork and feinting but he'l have to use the jab!
i do think his hooks can get too wide which floyd will exploit but that is mainly when he is working on the outside. you should try and get some more hatton video, tackie is a good performance, mike stewart, and ray oliveira, i was at maussa was a good exciting fight, although maussa barely layed a glove on him, did do some good damage with a couple of head butts tho (hatton cut over both eyes). i think if you watched those fights along with eamon magee you would have a much better opinion of hattonComment

Many people say that PBF can't hit. Simply because he doesn't have that one-punch KO power. But PBF's punches hurt. Gatti - who has taken a shot or two in his career- was discouraged from throwing. Judah doesn't have the best chin, but he went into defensive mode. Sharmba had been in with Tszyu and other guys. He said :
"For a little guy he can punch a little bit," Mitchell said of Mayweather. "He surprised me. I didn't see it coming. It was like flash, ****, I was down."
Even Oscar was buckled by a Floyd right hand.
Sooooo, Ricky needs an effective strategy that involves him NOT eating leather. I haven't seen him deploy that very well (consistently) in the past. RH has seemed to rely on superior strength/stamina/energy/will.
That won't be a good plan this time.Comment

no i definitely think floyd can punch a little bit, i think he backed judah up with his accuracy and work rate tho! sharmba is a very questionable welter, he wasnt big a light welter, so i was not very surprised that he was backing mitchell up, the first knock down was a flash kd tho, and the stoppage was a good but questionable body shot. u mentioned the tszyu mitchell fight and i think tszyu beat mitchell far more convincingly, that was a breath taking performance from tszyu, knocked mitchell down 4 times, beat him all over the ring. that was also 6 months before tszyu fought hatton!
i do agree floyd will pick him off but like castillo, there is a misconception about how easy hatton is to hit, obviously such an aggressive fighter will be hit on the counter but hes not like baldomir, hatton has good head movement, light on his feet, underrated defense, good anticipation! saying this i think floyd will hit hatton a lot, but the key to hattons fight is to take the leverage away from mayweather when he throws his shots, and then obviously connect on the inside and try and show the judges hes doing the more eye catching work not easy but in my opinion can be doneComment

Floyd won't be able to get unbder Hatton's skin because Ricky is to witty and hasa sense of humor. He'll just laugh it off, and let it roll of his shoulders. If I were Floyd, I don't know if I would talk to much **** in the UK they might just burn that mother****er down and start rioting. Have you ever seen what they do at soccer matches. It seems the brits are just as passionate about Ricky. Floyd tries to get an edge before the fight even takes place, thats not gonna happen with Hatton because he won't be able to get to Hatton.Comment

But Mick,I'm sorry, but anyone who is not embarrased by Mayweather and his bull**** , is plain ******ed.
The guy is a thick, classless piece of **** who talks in simplistic terms about....
"I'm the best...I've got more money..I'm goning to kick your ass..
I'm going to repeat myself until you get annoyed ...(because I'm so ****ing boring)..
..
He DOES have more money than you and he CAN kick your ass. And he HAS annoyed you. Mission accomplished, I'd say.
Given that you are so much more classy, and intelligent, what does it say about YOU?
Anyway...

Great news for Ricky Hatton, it looks like Floyd is believing his own hype and looking past him.MAYWEATHER TO DANCE WITH THE STARS WHILE TRAINING FOR HATTON

EDIT: To Black Jesus re: Floyd talk vs Hatton.
i think you're mixing up racial background with intelligence and wit.
Floyd isn't funny - his trash talk might work (have we seen any evidence of this? it certainly didn't seem to influence Oscars fight performance) but he doesn't have the wit that Hatton does, or rather his wit is appreciated on average those who have a limited experience of comedy.Comment
