This is obviously a noobie question, but, what exactly is a "card"?

Saying that he watched the whole show. Like when you watch boxing or MMA, a person might ask, "Whats on the under-card?" meaning what fights are going to happen before the main event, and saying just "card" means the WHOLE thing.

The GREATEST MMA fight ever, which ive seen (I forget there names but they played all the time on Spike TV for a while before a rematch or something), HAILS in comparison to EVER SINGLE FOTY for boxing... which is a bold but very true statement

I started to become a fan, and now Im just losing interest. I had it on the Comp. but was barely paying attention. Then when the match I wanted to see came on, I had to bounce. So I guess Cotoure won, Im glad.

But the crowd was goin nuts when a guy would get tackled and what not... and... idk, to me it was really boring.

And everyone loves the tackles, and they are kinda cool, but they lead to SUCH boring action and roling around on the ground and everything.

And ANYBODY who says UFC fighters are anywhere near as talented as Boxers is crazy. More athletic? maybe some of them are, but more talented? not even a chance.

They punch like amatuers a swear...

The good UFC fights are good and fun, but they are street brawls. theres no skill. I just dont see it
I was having alot of similiar thoughts watching a UFC video on the monitors at a video store last night..

I watched about 4 fights to give it a chance.

I was sorry I did so..

Honestly, some of it was so bad I had a hard time believing it..

How this **** is popular is beyond me.

Cro Cop looked good with his skills and relexes by comparison to the others involved, he was timing his man nicely... And I respect some of the talent they had in Pride - Emelianenko primarily - but other than that all I can do is shake my head... Maybe a few others.. But the guys that are bad ****ing stink. There's some true ****** olympics going on in the octagon..

That was probably Mirko vs. Fedor..

I was impressed with that one.

**** most of that **** - but Fedor's career is a must own collection.

Bonner vs. Griffin? That fight was good the first time I watched it, but after watching it a couple more times. I realized it was a very amateurish battle. I mean, all those punches landed and thrown were ugly arm punches, and its embarrassing to even hear you say it hails in comparison to boxings best fights. It's actually lame how that fight is hailed as UFC's greatest fight. It wasn't that great.

where are the ufc ball suckers?

anyway i watched the whole card and can give git maybe a 3/5. i like the fact that randy at 44 did what he did against what seemed to be a favored opponent and gsp shutting down that punk kos whatever. id rather watch boxing though.
