        Guys, like i've said.
First learn something about ground game, and after that talk some ****. Because you look like ignorant ****s that don't understand fighting (boxing, kicking, ground game etc.).

You want 2 man, face to face to trade shots? Why don't boxers go to Thailand to test themselves, and how good they are against Muay Thai fighters?

I love boxing...I've been watching it for years and will watch it for the rest of my life. But i have seen my fair share of boxing fights that were very, very boring and I was pissed I spent the money...clinching for the whole fight and showboating with hands down...

I also love to watch mma, I will watch it for years to come also. They also put on boring fights every now and then that make me pissed off I spent the money on it.

I do know that these are two different sports though.

To people who don't understand mma, when they see the fight on the ground they say it's boring. I think they just don't understand it and are not paying attention to what’s going on. If you watch you can see they are using all sorts of techniques to gain better positioning, set up submissions, hold your opponent in guard, escaping the guard, defending, wearing out your opponent who is defending, etc. etc. There is a science behind it.

I love watching the techniques in boxing too. Using the jab to set up punches, cutting of the ring, getting in the inside, body punches, keeping your opponent at a distance, breaking down the body, taking away their legs, etc.

To people who never watch boxing, they would never see any of this. I watched a few fights with guys who don't watch boxing...and they said "Big deal, all they do is throw punches...how hard is that?"

The also didn't know who De La Hoya and Mayweather are and they said..."these guys suck, who cares about this fight"

If someone who didn’t know the history of the Koscheck vs. St. Pierre fight last night…all they would see is one guy taking down the other…boring right? But to know that St. Pierre took down and dominated Koscheck ( a four-time NCAA Division 1 All-American) is impressive.

I think you just have to be a fan to really understand and enjoy either one. I am a fan of both. I’m not making an argument for either one…you guys have the right to watch whatever you want.

And everyone loves the tackles, and they are kinda cool, but they lead to SUCH boring action and roling around on the ground and everything.

And ANYBODY who says UFC fighters are anywhere near as talented as Boxers is crazy. More athletic? maybe some of them are, but more talented? not even a chance.

They punch like amatuers a swear...

The good UFC fights are good and fun, but they are street brawls. theres no skill. I just dont see it
Friends of mine that are UFC fans said it was a good card......I'm not much of a fan of UFC myself but have watched past events and feel similar to the way you feel about it......Boxing>>UFC to me.

See guys. You can say that in MMA you need to learn all this and all that.

But i guess that comes at a HUGE price, cause they end up not being very good at anything but wrestling. If yo get a guy like CINTRON to get into the "octagon" or w/e, a guy who can wrestle if he needs to but is a masterboxer in comparison to the UFC guys, he woop ass.

It probably wouldn't even turn into a wrestling match.

Lemme tell you something. I use to fight around with my brother sometimes for fun, and how i would get him down is just jump out from 20 feet and grab is legs.

And thats the same thing these UFC guys do. They leave there ribs and back of there heads completely wide open.

A guy like Cintron, who is p4p one of the hardest punchers in both sports, would down one of these guys in like 30 seconds.

And i hate this now that people are gonna yell at me saying "you just dont know MMA so you dont know what ur talking about here." But i do, i've seen a bunch of fights.

If you have a jab in the MMA, you will dominate. Cintron does a one-two, and it would take out any guy in the UFC. These guys just arent talented Boxers, and if you keep the fight on the feet, the boxer wins every single time.

Or even a slick boxer like Mayweather would avoid getting tackled. it would just be so easy for him and theres no questioning that

Nah dude you can't set your feet, you have to keep your feet behind you because if you punch like a boxer you'll be submissioned in three seconds. The best boxers in the world couldn't last a half-minute in the cage. You try an mma fight and see what your punching technique is.

I'm not saying UFC is better than boxing, I prefer boxing myself, but those aren't street fights and they require tons of skill and training.

                    No no no no no;

Mayweather is trained to dodge punches, which he does exquisitely. What make you think he can sprawl at the same time? How is he on the ground anyway? he's not trained for it, a mediocre mma fighter would murder him in thirty seconds
