Only when the fighter I bet on needs a round or two to even things up or finish the job. Otherwise, nope.

Would ODLH be an elite fighter if we still had fifteen rounders? Or Cory Spinks? Hell - Jermain Taylor?

Two words: Hell yeah! Versi, I'd rather watch 15 rounds of a boring fight than most anything on network TV LOL! Seriously, though. Rounds 13-15 were the "championship rounds" for a reason. As Angelo Dundee would say: "Time to separate the men from the boys".

but thats just it. if there were 3 more rounds I really didnt see Wright lasting. Look at Leonard Herns that fight would have been completely changed if it were 12. Id like to see it come back personally. You would see a lot less so called "champions" and the ones that would establish themselves would be the real deal.

15 rounds wouldn't make a difference. Fighters would prepare for a longer fight, and the ones who sneak away with the wins would just do what they do, but stretch it out for another three rounds. You get winded more, true. But.. sometimes, the winded guy still wins, sometimes he doesn't. It's really just about the fighters.

You were right, most have never even seen a 15 round fight.
The "Death comes after 12 rounds" is total bull****. Changing fights to 12 hasn't stopped boxers from being killed. Being scheduled for 15 and
actually going 15 doesn't always happen, as with 12 rounds. But it sure
did weed out the chumps from the true champions.

                  Disagree.

I think that Cory/Oscar/etc train as hard as they can. Their personal stamina and capacities are 10 rounds.

Yup, and if it wasn't for Oscars stemina, Tito would have been owned. There would be no debate.

I do, thinking about fights like Hopkins vs. Taylor I and having those 3 extra rounds... What a difference it would have made!

The way Alexis Arguello cemented his reputation in those rounds..

Fraziers left hook in the 15th..

I think they should have it on the table. Somewhere.

There are still ring deaths and lasting injuries with what we've got..

                      Possibly fewer of course..

But as a sport I think Boxing would be itself more at 15.
