my thoughts exactly , i think he just wanted to show he could last the fight

I probably already posted in this thread but for me it's Erik Morales! He's my third favorite ever behind Whitaker and Toney (not far behind at all though). He was the epitome of a prize fighter. Great skills, tons of heart and charisma. He gave the fans what they wanted.

Barrera - Survive and thrive. Except the thriving never happened, so he just stayed back and survived.

I think you can make the argument that Barrera quit before Morales, but I guess it depends on how much value you place on literal quitting vs. figurative quitting.
That's the key...literal quitting is what I have a HUGE problem with...if you really can't go anymore the ref or your corner will put a stop to it...that's my take...

But it's ok for Pac to use every excuse in the book, right ?

And if Barrera wasn't unprepared the first time. Then why couldn't a Prime Pac KO a Old Barrera ?

                    Almost too close to call.

It is wierd actually. Overall I would say I got behind Erik more in his fights but when the two fought I was pulling for MAB.
