I really could see myself living in Mx and opening up a business in Guayabitos ,Vallarta or Gudalajara.
nope im mexicano born and raised in iztapalapa(The Marquez's neighborhood)...i just studied English...yeah its sad what happens here in Mexico, the rich people get richer, but the poor ones stay just as poor, its been the same **** since the 1900's but now crime is the biggest problem that comes with poverty... i think its been better here since like 97 though.....

I greatly respect Dan Rafael's opinions and knowledge. He is very objective, IMO.

In 2005, DR said that Mosley-Mayweather would be "a destruction". He felt that SSM's combination of size/power/speed would be way too much for Floyd.

In a post-ODLH world, I want to know if DR feels the same way. So I have e-m'd him that question.

IMO, SSM and DLH have nearly the same skillset. The 24 even rounds they fought kind of bear that out. They are about equal in chin/size/speed/power... and have similarities in style. Although Oscar has more height/size than Shane and SSM MAY edge Oscar in speed. Also, Shane's defense sucks. But SSM has the clear advantage in stamina.

Thanks for answering my question. Hey, what can guy with a bachelors in Public Administation do in Mx. Is it possible to find a good job because I really would like to relocate and start a business. I've never been to DF but I do know Guadalajara. Man, if i could just move today i'd be eating tacos de barbacoa, birria, tacos de suadero while drinking Newmix. Do they still sell that,it is a combination of jimador and squirt in a can. I'm just reliving memories of my vacation back in 98.

It really doesn't matter if Shane Mosley fought bums or not. You cannot deny what your eyes are telling you.

Shane Mosley was something special at 135.'

His hand speed was real, his punching power was real, his combinations were real.

Bums or not, Shane Mosley was a supremely gifted physical specimen.

OK. Zab is a supremely gifted physical specimen. Michael Grant is a supremely gifted physical specimen.

I'm not saying that Shane is THOSE guys. SSM accomplished TONS more. But as soon as you put a REAL guy in front of Shane, he looks much more human.

And one phrase that I will NEVER agree with is "It really doesn't matter if Fighter X fought bums or not". Sorry. The ONLY way we can tell what a guy really is, is to put ANOTHER real guy in front of him.

Jeff Lacy looked scary until he faced a real guy. Nasseem Hamed, anyone?

The Hamed reference is kinda strecthing it abit. He did beat Tom Boom Boom johnson and Manuel Medina and i think he beat wilfredo vasquez. They might not be all that but they were championship material, so that makes them real guys not bums.

It is a thought of mine ,that one day i will live in Mx and reunite with all my cousins. Even though i was born in Chicago, some of my best memories are from the time i was enrolled in school in Guadalajara.I still remember wearing white pants with a blue sweater to school and buying a torta de frijol after school. What i heard about owning property is that since im a Us citizen i can't own property. Is that true?

                    OK, granted.

But how did Naz look in front of Barrera? How WOULD he have looked at 126/130 vs Morales? Marquez? Pacquiao? Juarez? Mayweather? etc?

There are guys who terrorize the bustas and middling fighters. And then they can't get past the elite.

Shane, God bless him, is either 2-4 or 1-5 vs his best competition. I can't overlook that.

side note: I owe barrera a steak dinner any time I see him for ramming hamed's head into the turnbuckle.
