Are we talking about the same guy that SHOULD'VE lost a decision to Miranda (even after all the point deductions, I had Miranda ahead by a point) but was awarded a gift after someone paid off the Ref and the Judges?Comment

and seriously, if you wanna ignore the guy, thats fine... just make sure you continue to talk **** when he's the #1 middleweight in the world///
(i still can't believe how many blind (or biased) fans we have here saying that Miranda was robbed, give me a break)Last edited by restless_438; 08-22-2007, 10:39 AM.Comment

Yeah, see, i agree with you.. and the moment has to be fast approachingHBO isn't going to put Abraham vs. Khoren Gevor on television, even though Gevor is a Top 15 middleweight.
If he wants American TV exposure, he'll fight a name better known to American fans - a Miranda rematch (unfinished business) on Boxing After Dark or a fight with the Taylor/Pavlik winner or Winky Wright OR against another rising middleweight that American fans aren't as familiar with because of lack of national TV. Maybe Abraham's folks should be targeting John Duddy...Comment

We all know that without the point deduction Abraham would have lost that fight, but we also all know that Abraham would have won without the broken jaw. Abraham would rip Miranda apart in a rematch. Last thing I heard was that Miranda didn't want a rematch.Comment

Abraham is a very good fighter, but even tough he clearly beat Miranda, he defnatly had major problems with him...i can only imagine what taylor, pavlik, and winky would do to him, he has nice all around skills, but he is too passive for my liking and telgraphs his right way too much....i like the guy but I dont think he could beat the top 3 middleweights in the worldComment

yeah different people look for the fighting in different view and angle. people here must be more open minding and try too see what made the judge score the fight toward him.the funny thing is tht most americans haven't seen the fight and are instead going by what they've seen in pictures and biased highlight videos. I'm not doubting that you've seen it btw. The fight was not a robbery at all, the rounds were difficult to score, similar to abraham/gevor last week.
Aruther chin is never the same and it looked it didnt heal pretty well but lucky the Gevon is a light puncher but he did abit hurt him when he tounched his chin. not like painfully but imagine what would Miranda would do?Comment
