yeah, some people are too attached to Morales.

another reason people here are closed minded and dont wanna hear other people opion.

It was close fight it was similar to Rocky fight with Appolo where David Diaz looked like Rocky and he force alot of action.

if the fight went on intell on would get KOed who will it be? this is another way to judge a round.

honestly eazy, you are a MAB nuthugger.....always discrediting Morlaes and Marquez...

and for that guy that said diaz's numbers were almost as good but with more punches thrown and stuff, post the numbers before the 7th round because Morales counldnt fight from that round on.... so it was obvious diaz would get better numbers, fact is Morlaes won 8 rounds and fights are scored in rounds...

i didnt discreat Morales he was a great warrior but his career ended as Zahir Raheem won him as totally finished as Pac won him the 2nd time.

I knew there was a problem back then because his father told him to retire and didnt work with him i the 3rd fight. so it was long time.

As for JMM, he is a good counterpucnher who is agressive and throw many combos and counterpunch at the same time which is a rare quailitiy.

I not saying that Morales lost or win the fight but saying it was a close fight and if you look it in the judges eye you could give credite for Diaz aggression even though Morales hit could of good clean punchs Diaz just kept coming forward and pushing him back. so you gotta see the view of others e****ally the judge that is possiable that Diaz to win and not that Morales was robbed because each one looks for something in the fight.

As for Barrera what not to love from that guy? He came after every lose and beaten the competition. He is smart and have multi-style and many trick on his sleeve as well as could counter, brawl and box. That most thing I like about him is never say die attuide and alway prove his criticse wrong again and again and again

K eazy, you are my boy so ill believe you but you seem to think of Morales as a mere warrior when he was much more...
i was saying that about barrera because you semm to favor him in every fight, so your recent posts about morales and marquez seemed to be influenced on your liking for barrera, but i guess i was wrong...

and theres lots of stuff to dislike about barrera....as a fighter he is great though....

I respect JMM i like his style too. and I not trying to discreit any of the fighters. Because I did alittle boxing myself and I respect them alot, as well as path of life.

from EM, MAB and JMM. Erik Morales have the good career but then lost couple of time in a row. But if he stopped when Zahir Raheem won or 2nd Pac won then it would been better ending for him.

JMM and MAB has a tough long journey for both men. Because trying to regain a loss is something hard to do or trying to get some recognation.

But all started out pretty hard

Yeah, I never bought much into the hometown crap, either. If nothing else, Illinois actually runs one of the cleanest commissions in the country. There are very few bad decisions out that way, from club shows to world title fight.

It was just a fight where the judges favored one style over the other. People want to justify their own scorecards, so they search for conspiracies.

I thought it was funny that Arum went out of his way to note "The Mexican Judge" scoring the first round 10-9 Morales and the 2nd round 10-8 Diaz, as if his being Mexican would lean in favor of Diaz, a Mexican-American over Morales, born raised and still residing in Mexico.
