Allow me to explain the topic to you, because what you think that you created a topic about...isnt what you actually did create a topic about.

You are asking what Hatton brings to the table that other fighters who Floyd beat couldnt. However, because you are a ****, you deliberately phrased a very inflammatory thread title of "Is Hatton the easiest fight Mayweather has had in years?".

Now, I'd hate to second guess, but I'd imagine that the reason for doing this, is to try and get some digs in about Hatton whilst trying to pretend that you're actually after a serious discussion.

Me, I'm not buying it, as such I will discuss with you on the subject of your thread title. The nature of that discussion being that you yourself know that Hatton isnt the easiest fight of the past few years, because you deliberately didnt mention Gatti...who is OBVIOUSLY (and who you obviously recognise as being) a MUCH better candidate for that title (hence you neglecting to mention him). As such, you're being a ****, futhrermore you KNOW that you're being a **** and I will, therefore, treat you like a ****.

Where the other guys' weaknesses are lie Hatton's strengths.
I hardly ever agree with you, but this was well-said.

It's obviously not a complete and final analysis of Hatton's ability, but it effectively answers the question asked by dino

not the easiest fight he has had in YEARS, but in no way is this a super-tough fight either. all fights are tough, and all top level fighters are tough guys, but this is an A++ fighter versus a B+ fighter.

So my question is what does Hatton bring too the table that these guys dont? i actually think hatton had a better chance at beating mayweather a couple of years before mayweather filled out.
Hatton is better than Baldomir and Judah, to suggest that Baldomir is better is laughable.

I think Mayweather will win easier than a lot of people think, but I doubt it will be easier than Baldi or Gatti.

you give judah too much credit in my opinion.

judah (unfortunately) has drifted away from his prime far too soon...

this is the guy that cotto made look pretty bad in their fight. cotto outboxed him...out brawled him...overall made zab look almost the worst he's ever looked in his career. de la hoya (obviously) faired much better against mayweather.

im not saying hatton would beat de la hoya BUT how do you know it wouldnt go 6 rounds? you dont. exactly.

hatton has some advantages over floyd...

he's younger (he wont tire easily...like de la hoya did)
he's a true student of the sport always trying to tighten up his combs and the speed of those punches. always striving for utter perfection.

if you ask me hatton has some great hand speed...

              he can brawl you

              he can box you

he's an excellent body puncher and even has a fair amount of counterpunching ability.

im going on record with this now...

look for hatton to faint a lead right to mayweather and slip in a left hook to the body and follow up with a big "haymaker" right. he's going to want to punish mayweather to the body and rough him up.

im not saying hatton is for sure going to win or that floyd is for sure going to win because in my opinion this is going to be a pretty even/close fight.

hatton is BY FAR not the easiest fight mayweather has had.

if mayweather DOES WIN...its going to be a split decision. he's not going to give a 12 round shutout effort against this guy. it just isnt going to happen.

and he damn sure wont knock him out...hatton might get roughed up in fights but he has a steel chin...very tough fighter.

and hatton is undeafeated (as floyd is) for a reason...that reason is because he and floyd are great fighters...

floyd isnt fighting some no name fighter with a record or 6-25...

he's fighting the real deal type of fighter...

and as another poster said judah melts down...and hatton wont. he's too focused.

another thing that makes hatton better than judah is he actually LISTENS to his corner and does what they want him to do...

remember when judah got knocked the **** out in the 2nd round against tystu (sp???). he looked good...REAL good in the first round and his corner told him not to take him lightly but he didnt listen...and then got knocked out big time...

hatton wont do that...if his corner says, "do A" hatton will do "A" not "B" or "C" but "A" and that is very important in a fight.

Baldomir is nothing more than a journeyman who got lucky.

If the Ref is fare doesn't let Hatton turn the fight into Hugafest 2007, it will be an easy fight for Floyd.

What are the idiots going to say if Hatton destroys him? I will bump this topic so you guys can remember it if hatton wins, so I can rub it in your face.
