Personally I found mayweather vs dlh to be extremley enjoyable. I could appreciate what they were doing, I guess the fight did not live to all the hype so people would say that it was horrible.

i think it lived up to the hype for a true boxing fan.

it didnt live up to the expectations of casual fans or casual sports fans.

see the casual fans thought it was going to be (im not making it up either) a mike tyson style fight where someone is going to get knockedout and its going to be huge...etc.

i for sure wasnt expecting a KO and did believe it would go the distance...and i was right...

i knew they werent going to slug it out like an old school heavyweight fight.

but the casual fans thought it was going to be especially how mayweather was promising a knockout of some sort and when the fight was over they got mad that it wasnt what they thought.

i enjoyed it and watch the fight from time to time (i burned it on DVD) and in my opinion (overall) its one of the top 5 fights of this year (so far...we still have tons of great fights to go) but in my book (as i said...so far) it rates up there with cotto/judah...miranda/pavlik...williams/margarito...etc.

im not saying it was THEE best but deserves an honorable mention for sure.

besides the amount of drama and events (de la hoya/mayweather 24/7) and all the hype only amped things up even more for me...although i was excited enough without all the extra media attention.

Not sure if you remember the tito / mayorga fight, but tito knocked his ass out & dropped him to the canvas multiple times. i dtill don't get why people under-estimate trinidad. He's one of the best welters ever, and pound for pound has a stronger punch then RJJ. Oh & I'm not puerto rican.

First off let me say this..........this is one of the worst comeback fights Tito's camp could have chosen. There is no proof that Trinidad has any power over 154. Fighting at 170 Idk if he will be used to the speed and how quick his reaction is fighting in a weight class hes never fought b4.

But, I will support Tito's dumbass as long as he fights. He will fight anyone he fights for his country's honor. Go TITO!

Roy's right it isn't Mayweather-DLH. Jones-Trinidad is too washed up fighters who both should retire after this fight.
