It's a respectable thing to do if you're entertaining and promoting a fight.

what could have been a great read turned into another **** article about how bad floyd is.

Hey asian did you ask jeff why he got fired as floyd's manager. The guy got kicked off team mayweather because he was stealing money from floyd you then turn around and use him as a source jeff was totally biased against floyd and it showed in the article, if the guy wasn't such a thief he would be a millionaire now, but he's the one with no marquee fighter and no real coaching career.

          PBF is HoF today.

He was HoF 3 years ago, too.

Do you guys have a clue WHO is in the HoF? everyone and their mothers.

              Ditto.

              Let me get this straight:

Floyd's dad went to jail for drugs. His mother was a crackhead. He was raised by his grandmother. His uncle who trains him is clearly kinda nutty.

Yet, PBF has become the consensus best fighter in the sport. He is always disciplined in training and in impeccable shape. He has mostly stayed out of trouble. He has put himself in the position of making $10+ million per fight.

YET HE IS THE SUBJECT OF CRITICISM FOR BEING BRASH AND ****Y??

Someone in this thread earlier said a key word that people should take into account. "Image" Oscar's "image" is of a good looking, smiling, courteous nice guy. Floyd is like the people around my way brash, likes to show what he got and worked for, and hip hop driven. I don't care what "white america" says but if that's bad that's their belief I rather be real than *****foot around with an "image".

Point is he could have still made the 70 mill and his self respect. Instead, he plays as a wanna be gansta punk and most of the boxing world cant stand his immature tiny ass! It's called legacy people, I know in todays world of hip-hop idiots and wanna be ganster bling bling ***s- acting a fool and avoiding serious comp makes u the man, but in the real world where people actually see reality- Mayweather is a flash in the pan. he is an oppoutunist, and until he shows some substance he will continue to be disregarded by true veteran fight fans! Hatton is a start, but thats it-It's a big if that Mayweather actually wins IMHO as Hatton is the first real prime p4p caliber fighter Mayweather has ever faced! People seem to forget that ****!

I just read where Mike Marley said that he puts Mayweather in the same category as Sugar Ray Robinson.
I heard Bert Sugar call him an all-time great.
I heard Larry Merchant call him great.
The editorial staff at Ring Magazine have had him on their P4P list for TEN YEARS.
9 out of ten boxing writers just voted him #1 p4p for the Yahoo pole. The other one voted him #2.
Bill Parcells (a fan) said PBF was #4 on his all-time list.

Soooo, who exactly are the "veterans" that "disregard" PBF? Please name a few objective experts for me.

Can I ask you a question? If Castillo (and Corrales) weren't prime p4p caliber fighters when PBF fought them, what was Castillo when Hatton fought him at an advanced age?

While you are busy hatinjg, Floyd is busy making millions, winning titles and paving a Hall of Fame career. What is YOUR legacy?
