That's Oscar. I know many people who like to show off how much money the have all the time. Oscar isn't ****y and doesn't talk **** like Floyd.

      Yeah... but WHY?

Because PBF has a pulse. He is media-interesting.

Why are half the threads on here about Floyd? Why did the phrase "nuthugger" enter the boxing lexicon?

What are the two biggest fights this year? Who's the common factor in both?

What were the most interesting parts of 24/7? Oscar's punk-ass dogs? Pumping gas? A birthday cake? Mariachis in Puerto Rico?

Love him or hate him.... PBF gets tongues and pens wagging. And cash moving. Most of you might be buying to see him get his ass kicked...but your money is the same color green as "the nuthuggers". True Story.

BTW, WTF was up with mariachis in Puerto Rico?

Is it possible that Jeff is maybe (and this is a stretch) just a bit jealous of Floyd? Maybe?

Floyd is not only a great boxer but an even better business man....who here believed the retirement crap...he is a genius at generating hype with his flashy arrogant smug brash persona..people love to hate him.People want to see him lose..Thats why we love the little bastard. He is great for boxing although not exciting to watch technically i am also yet to be persuaded by his so called legacy.maybe after a couple more mega fights. He is definately heading in the right direction and not far off the HOF road.

If i asked the casual boxing fan about PBF..they will say " thats the bloke that foght Oscar, in that boring fight"...not proper HOF material yet. He still needs the real defining fights like Hatton ,step in the right direction then Mosely and Cotto. He got Oscar so far......

What would the "casual boxing fan" know about hatton or Cotto?? LOL.

What would the casual boxing fan say about Wilfredo Benitez' place in Canastota?

The casual boxing fan thinks that James Toney is "that fat guy, right?".

fair enough but we are talking HOF for PBF right..im just stating my opinion PBF has to have more fights against name opposition before he is HOF...and his somewhat patchy legacy so far...you think what you want

He's hall of fame material in my opinion. 5 titles in 5 different weightclasses. Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, and Floyd Mayweather I think are hall of famers. You can't argue against Hopkins and Jones though IMO.

All them names are good but PBF just isn't there yet and that yet is very close i think he has to do a little more against name opps
