    I agree, he's too high.

Tszyu was 36 years old. Castillo had not looked good since the Corrales fights two years ago. NEITHER was close to their prime. 36 year old lightweights are ancient. That is my concern about SSM for the Cotto fight.

If hatton beats mayweather - especially if he looks impressive doing it - he will be near the top of the rankings. If hatton is beaten badly by mayweather, he won't sniff another big fight in America. And won't see any p4p lists.

This fight is make-or-break for Ricky.

Funny you bring it up, because the majority of the public felt that Castillo was robbed, at least in their rematch

Another funny thing is that you have to bring Mayweather into this. Is PBF like your secret weapon or something because every time a PBF fans gets tagged in any kind of argument, here comes Floyd. Not bad having his name do most of the fighting for you

                1) Many people felt Castillo won the FIRST fight. NOBODY (including JLC) feels that Castillo won the rematch.

                2) The same people who are calling Castillo "a legend" have said that Mayweather's resume is suspect. So it it relevant.

Hurry up and give me bad karma for this post.

You are misunderstanding the point. If you look at the individual contributors who ranked the fighters, THEY ARE among the most influential writers in the game.

And Kevin Iole is very credible. He wrote for Ring Mag for years. Further, please remember that Yahoo News is read by alot of people. That is one of the outlets where the masses get their sports news online.

i think castillo earned respect and was considered p4p when he beat floyd. people knew he would become one of mexico's great fighters. but against corrales he had a fight that will be talked about for many generations because it is the greatest fight in boxing history.
