yeah he was winning, but yu cant compare the fights, and IMO what Chavez di in that fight is vastly underrated, he fought beautifully, only meldrick taylor and pernell whitaker could beat a prime chavez...

as i said, **** happens, but gerry was definitly trying to hit to the body with the left all night, he landed the punch in the button and won the fight fair and square...gonzalez is clearly the better fighter, though...

Instinct: generally inherited patterns of responses or reactions to certain kinds of stimuli.

Penalosa is a counterpuncher, that is his instinct. He did it againnst PDL. Penalosa countered JG in good timing.

        That is no lucky punch.

It wasn't a lucky punch. He was using that counter earlier and didn't land flush. That was the first time he landed flush.

Penalosa's defense is good and he likes to counterpunch. That ounter punch to the body was the prefect timing.

¿Fights where the man is losing has a very lucky punch and wind his fight?

I remember Jorge Locomota Castro vs David Jackson, very espectacular KO with a lucky punch when Castro almost was owned. Awsome fight.

Lucky punch? I don't think so, it's more great body punch that hit the right spot. Oliver McCall no look KO punch to Lewis chin, that's what you call lucky punch! Now the diff.!

Not hating on JCC. Just showing an example. Penalosa is not being given the credit he deserve.

Saw the fight once that was 2-3 years ago. But i am relying more on the observation of the boxing media(magazines/internet).

Lewis' wild left hook on Bruno. Bruno was winning, but it was close. Not that lucky since Lewis would have eventually took over, but that came out of nowhere and was a wild off balance punch
