    *waits for VIVAMEXICO to come in here and post some **** about how DLH isn't a true mexican warrior and took the dive on purpose and thus showing how mexican boxers are better blah blah blah*

    And for the record, no I don't think he took the dive.

        Not true. I think de la Hoya took a dive, not because the punch wasn't good, it was a solid bodyshot, the kind that takes your breath away and makes your torso feel like its closing in, but what I find su****ious is the guy yelling "Body shot... body shot... body shot... Oh, Oscar! Oscar look out!"

        Another thing I find, when I get hit with a left to the body (normally the liver area) its a delayed pain, where as the straight right (generally to the solarplexis or stomach area) is more immediate. Oscar went down within a second, but this isn't that fishy, it was a punch no doubt and he got it and went down.

        The shot was valid, but the strange surroundings with the yelling... not so much.

        But when it comes down to it, Oscar was ahead on points (on my card) in what would have been one of the biggest wins ever, of all time (a former SFW beating the undisputed MW world champ!) and B-Hop was beggining to take over the fight, landed a very good hook and knocked Oscar out.

          anyone of you can **** off for trying to taint two great fighters carrers. If they did then boxing means nothing and we should all stop watching. And if they didn't we should stop the controversy and love the sport and the punch which B-hop gave to a smaller and very aggresive DLH. Don King is dying and I hope the Blanket of thought that boxing is corrupt. lets just assume it is legit until someone makes it other wise. I Love this sport and so does ODH so he would never jepordize something like that.
          **** you;

            No way he took a dive. Body shots are devastating and a well placed one can put you down faster that a head shot would.

              You havent gotten hit in the right spot yet. I've felt both and the floating rib hurts much worse.

                I was a bit vauge, sorry.

                I've been boxing a for nearly three years and taken a lot of body shots from a lot of different people of varrying weights, but hey, its possible I just haven't gotten the right one (thankfully :P)

                Anyway, calm down, I was saying it was legit, but something was a bit fishy.

                  You misunderstand...the dunce cap was for me...I wasnt sure I was reading it right. No sweat b.

                  I do agree the body shot call could make it seem like it was fix time. I just think they were calling it out and Bhop executed it. If you look @ it like that its not so fishy.

                    Body shots do hurt like a mother ****er but the fact is most professional boxers are use to getting hit to the body, so for anyone who says if you've never boxed is just BS.

                    The reason I always questioned this fight is, that both men became partners within a week, the body punch was not a great body punch, Delahoya never been down by a bodyshot, Hopkins was not really trying to hurt Delahoya for the first 8 rounds, Hopkins told his corner this is my round.

                    By the way Delahoya was acting really bad just like the way Castillo did when he opened his new Swiss bank account after the Hatton fight.

                    None of us are 100% sure to what really happened, but I'm 90% sure Delahoya took a dive.

                      That spot is like the c h i n k in Smaugs armour. Its a spot where muscles dont help, cuz they aint there and it happens very rarely anyway. Not something you can train Gunstar.
