But Delahoya has been hit much worse then that to the same spot, I'm not buying it.

I think we will see many more KO's to the body in the future, it's a great business for the promoters!

How do you know they were in the same spot? There is very little space between the part of the body that is protected by ribs, and the part that is wide open. Anyways, haven't you all noticed that Oscar became business partners with Mosley also? Did he throw those fights? Probably not. I also am a lot more willing to listen to the testimony of people who have sparred or been in the ring before than people like me, who haven't boxed before, but are just fans of watching it. They know what it is like to get hit there, and they say it doesn't take much to go down, so that's what I'm going with.

Oscar didn't became partners with Mosley a week after he fought him, it happened years later. Oscar and Hopkins became business partner a week after the fight, not years later.

I've been in the ring many times, I've been hit to the body a million times, so I'm not going to tell you that I've been hit to the body and I know what I'm talking about.

            Yes he took a dive.
As a professional boxer who had never been stopped or even close to it, he has the ability to take shots to the body like that.
That was not a KO punch.

Yeah theres just no way that shot should have stopped him.
DLH has been POUNDED to the body in a few of his previous fights, no chance one weak left hook to the body, regardless of how well placed it was, should have knocked him out.

A few days later they became business partners. So the theory is this: DLH knew he couldn't beat Hopkins (certanly not at 160) they were going to be in business together anyway so they made a deal to give DLH an out without getting his ass kicked too much.

If this is so DLH is a pansy who screwed a lot of people out of $50. So, what do you guys think?
I cant see how that shot stopped de la hoya, hes been in the ring with Vargas and other big punchers before i dot see how that body shot could have stopped him,

Also his behaviour at the end was suspect, acting like he was overly upset,

And the fight was weird, Hopkins controlled the fight but didnt impose himself fully on de la hoya, he just took rounds away from dlh instead of going in there to hurt him.

It was an odd fight, i dont see why de la hoya would throw a fight to get hopkins on board tho, he doesnt and didnt need him.

mental breakdown... he was just looking for a way out... not a dive imo, but he robbed the public of getting to see him trully knocked out i want a refund still

I think he definitely could have kept fighting, Ill say that much. Oscar was looking for a way out. Hopkins being involved is possible too.

Gunstar, I really hope for the love of god that you don't believe that video with blatantly dubbed audio is the genuine article.
