look oscar can say this and that but until he actually makes weight at 147 I aint buyin what hes sellin. Also, lets say he does boil himself down to Welterweight, 99% of the time he has had great action fights and although he may throw a kink in the new welterweight dynamic I look at as more of a passing of the torch.

i honestly didnt see that man running for 12 rounds
it was a brawl or anything
but there were point s in the fight were he stood toe to toe with oscar and fought him
i saw it more as a defensive fight with floyd being really really cautious making sure he didnt get caught with oscar's infamous left hook

      but we'll see what happens
i would like for cotto to fight floyd if they both win their matches
there were moments where floyd straight up ran , moments where he counterpunched and moments when he did brawl.

if I was Oscar, I'd fight Vernon Forrest...he has a way better chance beating him than Winky...

and what a way to beat 'the guy' that beat the boxer twice that beat you....twice..lol.....and did I mention you punished a fighter that beat 'the guy'..haha

Tell ya what, Oscar: go fight Vernon Forrest. Or Winky Wright.
I gotta agree wit this guy, to fight Oscar these days is for nothing except De La Hoya Dinero. Oscar isn't even an active fighter, he hasn't proven himself against any of the top Welterweights & if he does he loses. Last memorable win Oscar had was against Mayorga, last memorable losses were PBF, BHop, & Sugar Shane. Middle finger to Oscar (& RJJ) until he earns the right to fight the best ACTIVE fighters today (like Holyfield does). Can u Dig Dat?!?!

i am not going to read the last pages and put my 2 cents in:

de la hoya is going back to welter to fight ONLY "Hatton". no way can de la hoya beat the top five in the division: mayweather (lost), mosley (lost twice, fought twice already), cotto, cintron ( no name), williams (high risk, no reward).

de la hoya is just talking **** to keep his name on fighter's minds wanting that big paycheck a la winky wright.

so there you go. its not oscars fault. he brought the fight...but there must be someone fighting YOU to make it a FIGHT. oscar didnt back down or run once...not once...floyd did.

oscar has fought just about anyone that wanted to fight. he usually has very entertaining fights and is one of those, "people's champ" type of fighters.

the crowd in vegas (especially) loves him. he's a good guy and isnt afraid to mix it up.

as far as hopkins goes why dont you let b. hop punch you to the body and see what you do.

oscar is pretty tough and i admire the fact he has desire to fight even in his older age. he puts a lot of hard work into his fights and to say he's ruining the sport is a complete lie.

in fact i wish de la hoya would get back in the ring for one more great fight before he retires.
I agree wit some of what u say regarding Floyd/Oscar, PBF stayed with the stickin & movin cuz that's exactly what a smaller, faster guy SHOULD do (who's the last guy u seen Floyd KO?? wassdamaddawidu??) Let's not forget the marathon runner Oscar can be, member the 2nd fight wit Trinidad & Sugar Shane? Turnabout is fairplay, I'm sure Mayweather took that **** outta DLH's book anyway. Oscar tough & still very skilled but let'em prove it against top 10 fighters instaed of gettin all these title shots & losing. Can u Dig Dat?!?

pretty much came to the conclusion that he is messing up the dynamic of the division and the great potential matchups that can happen later next year
we got cotto going aganist mosley
                and mayweather against hatton
                its been said
if may beats hatton and if cotto beats mosley
the cotto would potentially end up fighting oscar?
                thats lame
i'd rather see the two top champions cotto and mayweather facing off if they're able to win of course
the welterweight division right now is stacked and there is alot of good fighters and great matchups that can happen without the assistance of oscar
he is not needed in the division
he's not gonna unify it he obviously just wants to fight for money
what are we gonna see oscar vs williams?
or oscar vs mosley again? or against floyd?
i like oscar too obviously if u check my signature
but he's bad for the welterweight division if he actually decides to fight at that weight
                Good thoughts.

There are several ways Oscar could **** things up. Agreed.

i agree he should stay out the welterweight division, plus the ppv with floyd kind of ****** ,if he's tryin to save boxing it should at least had four fights, wat i would give for an undercard like Juarez-Barrera II again, plus i want to see him fight Winky

dog idk why people still are pushin for a dlh winky matchup it aint gonna happen

but if cotto beats mosley and goes on to vs dlh i would be really pumped for that fight

it promises to be nothing but exciting

Oscar is going to ruin it for guys in the division because he can beat most of them.
