But in the same way that Jordan on the Wizards wasn't good for the NBA, an aged Oscar isn't good for boxing. At some point, you have to pass the torch to Kobe/Dwayne Wade/ etc.

i was talkin with a friend and we were discussing the oscar effect on the welterweight division
pretty much came to the conclusion that he is messing up the dynamic of the division and the great potential matchups that can happen later next year
we got cotto going aganist mosley
and mayweather against hatton
its been said
if may beats hatton and if cotto beats mosley
the cotto would potentially end up fighting oscar?

i'd rather see the two top champions cotto and mayweather facing off if they're able to win of course
the welterweight division right now is stacked and there is alot of good fighters and great matchups that can happen without the assistance of oscar
he is not needed in the division

oscar isnt even a champ right now.. he should stay in super welter and fight winky or someone up there if he really wants to fight the best.. the welter division already has great matchups set up without oscar being involved..
