The winner of Hatton-Mayweather is fighter of the year. If it's Hatton in particular, there should be no one disagreeing.

the only way Cotto can become fighter of the year if Maywather losses to Hatton.

Mayweather fought in the "biggest" fight in PPV boxng history and Mayweather is then fighting a P4P "undefeated" fighter in Ricky Hatton. if Mayweatherhas wins ove Hatton and include de la Hoya, Mayweather is fighter of the year.

If Mayweather loses to Hatton and Cotto beats Mosley in the same fashion as he did against Judah, then Cotto should be fighter of the year.

Hatton would be the first man on earth to knock down Castillo and the first to beat Mayweather... actually forget Castillo, beating PBF after two wins screams Fighter of the Year loud enough, also Hatton will be a prohibitive underdog on fight night.

The odds on Cotto will not be near as bad, as those on Hatton's.

I did not factor Hatton's assessment in this thread about Cotto, sorry.

In my opinion, if Hatton beats Mayweather, he is the fighter of the "decade".

Well because it is lame to be like no. If you say no he is not, you should probably give explanation as to why, which in other words, is who is going to push him out.
