What does Collazo have that PBF doesn't really

The only hope Hatton has is to put up one of his ugly fights like he usually does. His only hope is to use his punch and clinch technique to make it sloppy for Floyd. But Floyd is too elusive to fall for that so it's basically going to be a massacre. Hatton is going to be eating so many straight right hands his face is going to turn into hamburger. I don't see any other outcome for this fight and anyone who thinks otherwise is thinking with their heart and not with their head. Floyd is going to beat the **** out of Hatton.Comment

What did Collazo have that Mayweather doesn't? Height, reach, size, strength, oh and he's a southpaw. Also he had the benefit of getting Hatton on a bad night. As for this question of rematches, Floyd didn't rematch Castillo fo the benefit of vindication, he rematched him because the money was right. Rematches only get made when there is a demand for it. The only one demanding a rematch with Collazo was Collazo.Comment

I see, so is that why Antonio Tarver fought Eric Harding for a second time when he could have gone straight to a Roy Jones Jr. fight? I guess by your logic, Eric Harding is a bigger star than Roy Jones Jr.What did Collazo have that Mayweather doesn't? Height, reach, size, strength, oh and he's a southpaw. Just because there is demand for a rematch doesn't mean that the rematchee has to be a bigger star. Nobody wanted a rematch with Collazo. HBO didn't want a rematch with Collazo. Sure Hatton could have rematched him for peanuts and not had it televised, but why take the risk? I suggest you look up the word "logic" in the dictionary before you start questioning mine.Comment

So there is only a demand for a fight if there is no bigger star in the same division? Sometimes there is a chemistry, a clash of styles which makes a rematch a mouthwatering prospect. And of course sometimes the loser's promoter has the winner over a barrel. Luckily Ricky wasn't because a rematch with Collazo would have proven and achieved nothing.Comment

1) PBF had a multi-fight contract with HBO. It was a non-PPV fight. Floyd was getting his money ANYWAY (3+ mil each for NDou, Corley and Sharmba). What did Collazo have that Mayweather doesn't? 2) MANY people, including the ones on this board, were asking for a Collazo rematch because the result was controversial. Is it your belief that fans were MORE interested in seeing Hatton-Urango than Hatton-Collazo 2?Comment
