Big Boxing Fan...

I met RON ARTEST out in front of MSG yesterday on 7th Ave.... he was just hanging out, people watching..... turned out to be a real cool, approachable guy and he surprised me when he told me he was a big boxing fan..and he wasnt just talking, either. Most guys bring up Tyson, Holyfield, Roy Jones... but he was saying how he would love to Pavlick fight Calzaghe, he liked Hopkins-Wright fight, stuff like that. After the fan brawl he had a few years ago I expected a much different guy but he was real cool from what I saw.

That's interesting, I like him more already.

People get down on him for the punches he threw during the brawl but I thought he used decent mechanics..

Better than most in the NBA at least..
