I agree that Cotto doesnt have a personality, but the guys name sells. He sells his fights in the ring the fight before.

And floyd deserves more money simply because he's pound-4-pound #1. And the best fighter in the world, the guys who works the hardest, should be paid the most. And Mayweather is both.

I dont understand? why would it matter? The Garden will still be sold out... His fans understand that there man has to fight more then once a year. His next fight (after mosley) will be on the parade... but not in the Garden...

By your "logic", Arturo Gatti should have been getting the fattest purses in boxing. "End of story"... lol

It actually might be because he tops the P4P list. That's just my thoughts though. How many people who weren't watching boxing for the first time on May 5th didn't know who Mayweather was? Probably not very many.

You're taking it to the extreme.

It's not like Cotto isn't a top p4p fighter. Come on man, draw the line.

It wont be on the Parade. Isnt that in June? This fight will be on Cinco DeMayo. I knew that either Oscar or Cotto would have to give up there normal "hometown" date but ofcourse Oscar will always win in those kind of negotiations

come on now, Floyd was doing very good numbers even before the Oscar fight. Also, if it was Cotto against Oscar then there's no way it wouldve done even close to the same amount of PPV's

De La Hoya is soooo desperate to beat up on a smaller guy. He wants to go out having beaten an undefeated superstar.

Cotto is way to small to have a realy chance, and hatton is MUCH MUCH MUCH to small
