This is a pretty old thread.

I'm going to give another opinion about this fight after I see Arturo Gatti vs. Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya's comeback fight at 147lbs.

c'mon wez...we all know dlh took a dive against b-hop. he could have gotten up at any time. i thought it was very poor acting. i thought dlh knew that he couldn't act. his acting career went nowhere. i didn't buy his dive in that fight either.

I'm a big fan of DLH, but right now, Oscar's mind is all over the place. Being a world class boxer, you should be in that mental state like Hopkins, Tszyu, etc and DLH has lost that hunger in him a long time ago.

Up until his fight with Vargas DLH was unstoppable. Right now he is not the same warrior he once was.
He looked so lazy against Strum and the way he looked for the Hopkins fight, he already lost it before he even stepped a foot in the ring.

it seems like DLH has other things in his mind now. I agree with you, he doesn't seem the same. Perhaps its the fact that he's aging...

You know what DeLaHoya said in a interview before the Hopkins fight?

He said, "I'm such a machine right now!"

                LOL!

That was the gayest quote I've ever heard someone say....

i think some of you guys are'nt giving dlh enough credit. just because he's a promoter does'nt mean he's not a world class fighter. floyd- oscar at 147 would be a great fight, oscar would have a big chance to win at 147, he's bigger, stronger, has the bigger punch and oscar is no slouch when it comes to speed either. i would want floyd to win but it could easily go either way

DLH would knock the **** out of pbf. Is a way smarter fighter than pbf and one shot will knock his phony gangsta ass out, DLH is too big and too strong for him. Sure he's quick but like Jermain Taylor said "He cant slip em all".
