Tyson's biggest weapon was intimidation. If Ali out-psyched Sonny Liston then he would do the same to Mike Tyson, and once you get past the intimidation factor it's all down to skills.

I hate when this debate pops up. Ali would simply outsmart Tyson with the rope-a-dope and quick combinations on the inside. Ali took a prime George Foreman's best punches and never fell, Tyson doesn't hit as hard as Foreman. I know you could argue Tyson's aggression and speed, but I see them as drawbacks. Tyson would be so fixated with trying to knock Ali out, he would ultimately punch himself out of energy and out of the fight.

The punches you dont see is what hurts you. Ask Frazier with his left hook in the first fight with Ali.

Ali would outbox Tyson just like Douglas did. The difference being Ali was much quicker on his feet then Douglas when he was at his peak in the 1960s.
