Some of you are off your rocker. Mayweather ain't stopping Cotto.
If Mayweather were to beat Cotto, it'd be a decision victory. Mayweather wouldn't be in any position to land enough punches to stop Cotto, nor would he be sitting down on his punches enough. He'd be on his bike all night because nobody in the sport right now pressures a fighter as effectively as Cotto. He wouldn't have time to sit down on a punch and buckle Cotto's legs like he did with Oscar because Cotto wouldn't sit there and pose with him.
Mayweather might win, but he'd taking a beating himself in the process. Like Cotto said, he (Floyd) would definitely know what type of fighter Cotto is afterwards. At points in the Judah fight, Cotto was simply punching over Judah, landing hard power shots even when he was taking a left hand or a flush jab. I doubt anything would change with Floyd, who is a sharp puncher, but won't get Cotto's respect with his jab/right hand. There's nothing you can do about someone just overwhelming you and punching over you.
If anyone is going to beat Mayweather it's Cotto. Bet that.Comment

oh man, yeah kball i remember that too ... there really is no coming out from that hole you dug yourself today.Says the guy who had "Miguel Cotto is everything I've dreamed and MORE" as a thread title.
Yeah I remember that.
And you haven't ever head the term "GET 'EM!" before, after someone got clowned on? Never seen the movie How High?
Maybe I should have worded it differently...Comment

Apparently Mayweathers offered everyone a fight and everyone declined
I did hear something about Arum not wanting Mayweather after the Judah fight, cause he thought it was too soon, but the fight wasn't offered anywayComment

Maybe not an official offer but what was the reason Hatton and Cotto was ringside when Floyd fought Gatti? I believe it was for a future fight between them and Hatton or Cotto showed much interest at the time.
Don't get me wrong i'm not saying Cotto was scared to fight Floyd they just showed no interest which leads me to believe that they felt they weren't ready yet.Comment
