No, I like being right, son.

Here's what Mayweather had to say during a transcript before he fought Judah:

lightsoutrome: yo floyd if you fightRicky Fatton and connect on one of his three fat chins do you think you can knock him out? and who you have out of Florida and Ucla?

FLOYD_MAYWEATHER_JR: I ain't really got an opinion on the game. Ricky Hatton don't want to fight me. he wants no part of the Truth and that's why he's fighting some guy named Picasso.

    FLOYD_MAYWEATHER_JR: Wait...that's me.

    FLOYD_MAYWEATHER_JR: What's that boy's name he's fighting again?

FLOYD_MAYWEATHER_JR: Didn't he get stopped on Shobox?

    FLOYD_MAYWEATHER_JR: In two rounds

Wouldnt you suggest that...I dunno...fighting someone exhibits a fairly undeniable intention of fighting someone?

Two years after the first proposed fight at a time when Ricky admitted in 2005, he would be nearing retirement?

No, that shows me he has the intention of getting PAID.

Come on man you know the bold is bull****. Back in 2005 Hatton was not worth 13 million just like he isn't now. In 2005 PBF couldn't muster up 13 million for a fight partner. PBF is a bigger name now and it is now known that Hatton fans will travel and spend money. So with the combination of both the promoters can afford to give PBF what he wants and Hatton can get close to what he wants. I would say Hatton asking for 13 million in 2005 was sort of a bull**** way of not wanting the fight right then. I only say that because he knew back then it was no way he would get that kind of money. De la Hoya and Lennox Lewis was only people getting that kind of money back then.

Exactly. Asking for that kind of a figure is no different than saying, "I don't want to fight"

or "Pay me more to kick my ass"

Ricky will get paid this year, but he has two years worth of an ass beating headed his way. Mayweather hasn't forgotten this stuff unlike a lot of you.

This thread is in response to a challenge from a Hatton fan and there is money in it for me, which he won't pay, but at least he'll know he should.
For one, I don't think Barrera is trying to cash out. He thinks he can beat Pacman.

I agree that Hatton should want no part of Mayweather though.
