learn how to score boxing..most of the earlier rounds nobody was really landing, me the guys doing the commentating, harold letterman, the judges, and anybody who knows how to judge a boxing match knew that you give most of those rounds to de la hoya based on activity, mayweather was leaning on the ropes and de la hoya was throwing punches.

you're an idiot, i've never seen more terrible threads by a single person than you.

You see, Dlh mayweather was not closer because De La Hoya clearly lost that fight. Look at the compobox numbers. Watch the fight. Mayweather won without a doubt, no questions asked.

Castillo, at least in my opinon won the first fight by a point. But it could have gone either way, because many rounds were very close.

It's pretty obvious which won was closer.

He won some of the early rouns because he was jabbing. But mayweather won almsot every round in the second half of the fight...

              To score a bout....

1: Who's landing the cleanset most effective shots.
2: If thats about even who's fighting their fight: Ring Generalship.

The castillo-pbf one fight was extremely close, it could have gone either way and castillo probably deserved the nod. There was a rematch anyway, so i don't see that much of a problem.

The DLH-floyd match was well contested but i had 116-112 as many others did. The one thing that some of the floyd-lovers will not accept however, is that if oscar had a bit more stamina and desire he could have won. going into the last 4 rounds it was a well balanced fight, but oscar isn't a 12 round fighter these days.

Thats the thing. Just like Jermain Taylor he was extremely active against Hopkins and that why I believe the judges gave it to Taylor. I saw Hopkins land the harder shots. Taylor would throw a ****** combination in hopkins guard and you hear fans screaming. When realy **** didn't even land. Talking about 1st fight. I will admit DLH was more active then PBF but just like Taylor DLH didn't land ****.

Yea, I think Mayweather eeked out the Castillo decision and he schooled Dela Hoya.

I broadly agree, but ring generalship applies controling the position that the action takes place, and usually means that you're dominating the centre of the ring. I don't think being backed up against the ropes shows ring generalship just because its part of your plan, what do you reckon?

I guess what I'm saying is that i didn't think Floyd showed ring generalship against oscar - he just outlanded him in 8 rounds IMO
