i know most of you no nothing abut judging fights, but i find it odd that many say castillo/mayweather 1 was a rip off, eventhough castillo only won 4 rounds at best, i had de la hoya/mayweather a draw 114-114
De La Hoya/Mayweather was closer then Castillo/Mayweather

WTF!!! A draw OMG! At the count that DLH didn't hardely land anything. DLH landed a few power shots to PBF. But that had no affect to PBF. Mayweather punches were hurting DLH. You could tell because everytime DLH got counterd he pause and didn't want to come foward at times.Last edited by Grappler_Baki60; 08-07-2007, 09:33 AM. -
Castillo won the first fight no doubt, just look at the punchstat, he landed 50 more total punches than PBF, he deserved that match and got robbed, but i think PBF clearly won the fight with DLH, i had scored it 116-112 for PBF. The best DLH could have gotten was a draw. and that would have been a robbery.Comment

Castillo didn't win the 1st fight and De la Hoya lost by a wide margin. When I heard that 1st scorecard announced for De la Hoya all I thought was that they (judges & boxing) was going to rob PBF just like they did Pernell Whitaker. It should have been a unanimous decision.Comment
