Hatton: I will give Collazo a rematch
    Collazo: Let's do it.
Hatton: Er, Um. Somebody get Juan Urango on the phone.
    That's real funny.

Because at least Floyd has some elite, prime fighters on his resume. Ricky has ZERO elite, prime fighters on his.

      True Story.

Absurdity... is he really going to jump over Pacquiao with one win?

hatton is free to come in at any weight he wants. Graham and hatton have BOTH said that Ricky is the bigger, stronger fighter....right?

          FROM RICKY'S OWN MOUTH:

But Hatton knows just how difficult it will be to defeat the Pretty Boy. "He's got amazing skills," Hatton admitted. "He's pound-for-pound the best in the world, he's great to watch, skilful, lightning fast, I always watch his fights. But I don't think he's the biggest fighter in the world. I don't think he's got much physical strength. When I went to see him fight Gatti, I saw him at the weigh-in and asked myself the question whether or not he was big enough or tough enough to hold me off for 12 rounds. And that'll be the big question once the fight comes along."

Yes. Hatton has to last out the first five rounds but then he can win.

nothing really. floyd should just look for a rematch. he shouldnt feel ashamed because hatton is undefeated, a good fighter, and he is in the top 10 pound for pound list. all of the great fighters lost eventually. Ali, Ray Robinson, Joe Luis, Pernel ''sweat pea'' Whitiker, Ray Lenard, Hearns, Hagler, ect. But i really believe that Floyd will beat Hatton tho. he did his research on him because he did not call Hatton out for nothing. he looked at hattons last fights and saw something that make him think he can beat hatton. i think he will.

I stick by it, if Floyd loses he'll become a better fighter. He'll rematch Ricky and win, take another half dozen to dozen fights and go down as one of the best all time.

If Floyd wins he'll retire and in ten years people will say "Cotto could've beat him" or whatever. His record would be soiled by its lack of soiling.

well, the difference between Marciano/Pryor and Mayweather is that Mayweather beat real guys during his run. Pryor literally didn't beat anyone of note. (repeat: Arguello was agerd and above his best weights).

Hatton has over 40 fights at 140. In this era, that is A TON of fights at one weight class. Yet, RH hasn't fought Witter, Cotto, Judah, Malignaggi, Vivian H, etc. Nor did Hatton even find his way to the top lightweights: Casamayor, Corrales, (prime) Castillo, Raheem, Freitas, Chavez, etc. Those are all the best guys from 135-140 over the past decade. When you think about it, that's kinda ridiculous. In fact, Hatton has never beaten a top, prime fighter.

Hopkins stayed at the same division for a long time....but he fought/beat everybody of note.

If he loses then he'll be dropped down quite a bit on the ATG status. He'll probably face hell, considering how boastful he's been. People wanna see 'Money' Mayweather go down. This board will probably slow to a crawl with all the PBF hate threads.
