he came out for his last fight in the mexican colors and sombrero because he appreciates the history of warriors that come from mexican. that is why i respect this man. he fights like a true warrior. when maywather wore the red white and green of mexico it was the most disgraceful thing i have ever seen because no true mexican would ever fight like mayweather.

How is a Mexican supposed to fight? Don't sterotype your own fighters. There will be a time when a Mexican fighter needs to box. Mayweather' style is just that. It's a strategy to win. What does it mean to show heart in the ring? To go toe to toe? That's not always smart. Barerra and Castillo are both great Mexican fighters but they mixed it up. It wasn't always toe to toe. They boxed and back pedaled when they needed to. IMO Mayweather lays his heart out in training and he wins fights with relative ease because of that. How is Hatton more of a warrior because he is always going forward? That's not always smart. If we are gonna talk boxing we gotta get down to the actuall science and strategy of it instead of just bashing certain styles cuz it's not hollywood. If golf fans and bowling fans can appreciate their sports us boxing fans can appreciate the excellent boxing skills unfolding in front of our eyes.

i am glad to see hatton considers himself a white mexican. he is one of the few non mexicans who actually fights with heart, comes forward, and always looking for a knockout. he is not a coward or a businessman like many other fighters. he is a true warrior who ducks no man and he had no problem signing the contract to fight the track star floyd "flo jo" mayweather. i was sad to see him ko a true legend like castillo but i know he will deliver the same kind of devestating knockout to mayweather.

He has earned his right to be called the White Mexican. Why do you think Barrera and his family became massive fans of him? Because of his style and heart and his similarities with Mexican fighters.

Apparently, the first time Hatton knew that Barrera was a fan was when Barreras mother approached Hatton and told him that she was a massive fan and her son was, Marco Antonio Barrera - that's how the friendship started. This was earlier in Hatton's career before the Tszyu fight so they recognised his quality earlier.

I'd like to think they know a thing or two about Mexican fighters... considerably more than you.

yeah the pre-Tszyu Hatton is different from today's Hatton he did show that from long time ago. I was a Hatton fan by looking couple of HL and then seen the Tszyu fight and it kinda pissed me off abit but i okay right now.
