i am glad to see hatton considers himself a white mexican. he is one of the few non mexicans who actually fights with heart, comes forward, and always looking for a knockout. he is not a coward or a businessman like many other fighters. he is a true warrior who ducks no man and he had no problem signing the contract to fight the track star floyd "flo jo" mayweather. i was sad to see him ko a true legend like castillo but i know he will deliver the same kind of devestating knockout to mayweather.

it takes heart to sign to fight a man that everyone says will give him a hard fight. many even think hatton will lose to mayweather but he took the fight anyway like a true warrior should. when mayweather got challegned by margarito he ran because he always runs from a real fight.

He has earned his right to be called the White Mexican. Why do you think Barrera and his family became massive fans of him? Because of his style and heart and his similarities with Mexican fighters.

Apparently, the first time Hatton knew that Barrera was a fan was when Barreras mother approached Hatton and told him that she was a massive fan and her son was, Marco Antonio Barrera - that's how the friendship started. This was earlier in Hatton's career before the Tszyu fight so they recognised his quality earlier.

I'd like to think they know a thing or two about Mexican fighters... considerably more than you.
