HBO has the best fighters and draws more attention from fans. and is it me or does the weirdest stuff happen on showtime? like tyson bitting holyfield, Doniare knocking out Darchinian, Alcine beating Travis Simms, Calzaghe dominating Lacy, Holyfield dominating tyson twice, Hatton making kostyzu quit, Corrales coming from behind to knockout castillio, ect. I bet none of that stuff would happen on HBO but I like both of the networks the same. and espn is basically all about bringing up young prospects.

Cant argue anymore although i like HBO better just simply because of the better fighters and the commentators. In my opinion showtime for me is boring because of the commentators and im not that much of a ESPN fan unless i kno whos fighting and the commentating is pretty good. Atlas should be in HBO nad Kellerman back to ESPN or wherever he was
HBO:
Lennox is an OKAY commentator. He talks from experience so I can deal with that, but he lost a lot of credibility when he praised Andre Dirrell. *vomits*
Larry Merchant usually is on point with what he is talking about. He provides good conversation for the rest of the panel and uses very good metaphors to prove a point.
Harold Lederman usually is on point, but there has been times where I'm like "ugh.....what?" lol
Jim Lampley is good, but sometimes biased.
Showtime:
They have great commentators that know what they want and see.
You can rely on them for accurate analysis.
ESPN:
Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore provide great commentary and Atlas' pre-fight analysis' ARE AMAZING, the guy def. knows what fighters need to do to win.
tough decision, but HBO is indeed more consistent with big fights...
HBO has the bigger names, Showtime has the better matchups, ESPN has dropped mightily since they cut their budget. While I dont have it, I'd say Showtime.
Showtime has the best fights and the best commentary (Bernstein knows more about boxing than anyone alive today) but not the best fighters. HBO is putting on some great ones this year, but until they go through, I'm voting Showtime.
Im beginning to like Showtime a lot and I like Steve Albert and Al Bernstein as commentators, but I've grown up watching fights on HBO and it doesn't seem like a big fight unless Jim and Larry are doing the commentating. So I'll go with HBO on this one.
HBO easily. Kinda like how basketball was best on NBC.............................boxing is simply the best on HBO with Larry's old ass pan right, slo mo speeches.
