Of course he has a good chance. It's not like Ibragimov is a great fighter or anything. He's about as normal as it gets other than he's a southpaw.

I honestly don't know how people like you come to these conclusions. How do you know for certain Wlad would be a bum? he has a strong punch, very long reach, is huge and very tall. he would be a tough cookie in any era.

I'm saying I'd rather not watch the physical destruction of a fighter who has not shown the ability to still be competitive at a high level. Holy has lost to mediocre fighters, which should have told him to retire. But now after a few bogus tune-ups against unranked guys, he's going to fight for a title.

What do you want, for him to fight to the death? He'll be worse off than Ali if he ever gets Peter or Klitschko in the ring.

I don't want my favorite fighters to have to kill a legend.

Alrigt lets look at the guys he lost to and the ones he beat, Chris Byrd former world champ, James Toney former world champ, Larry Donald fought for the championship(elimanator)..... Jeremy Bates journeyman, Fres Oquendo fought for a championship, Vinny Maddalone journeyman, Lou Saverese fought for championship, i guess what im saying is ive seen more damage being dished out in his four wins then ive seen him take in his three loses...

Sultan Imbragimov isnt any higher caliber in my opinion at this point then say a Fres Oquendo or Lou Saverese thats not to say he wouldnt beat them but at this point there level of competetion is about the same with Fres and Lou getting the edge.... Evander has been the underdog before and im just informing you guys who are doubting him saying he may get killed, he isnt fit for this type of fight etc.. that you sound delusional Evander is a grown man with over 400 rds experience im sure 12 rounds of boxing wont hurt him that much! I think that this is going to be a long tough fight for both fighters but I favor Ibragimov slightly because of his youth, style, and because of the 'home court' advantage he'll have in Moscow. Holyfield will really have to pull a miracle to win a decision there....
