He lost to Oquendo and didn't do that much in beating the rest of those "contenders"

No he didn't lose to Oquendo. The fight was a draw at best with the exception of the FIRST ROUND KNOCKDOWN which gave Holyfield the edge. How the **** could you possibly score that fight for Fres?

Holyfield did virtually NOTHING for the rest of the fight, granted Oquendo did not do much either but Oquendo was landing the better shots through-out the fight countering Holyfield, I had (with the knockdown) Oquendo 116-112.

I have a bad feeling about this one, especially with IMO the tougher fighter, Chagaev, suddenly dropping out for "undisclosed reasons". Wouldn't be the first time something dishonest happened in boxing. I hate to say it but Holy takes this by controversial decison; setting up the big Wlad fight.......

No disrespect to either fighter but this is as about as fishy as it gets. I really hope I'm wrong.

he couldnt get off becuase of the better hand speed of toney and donald. obviously he didnt have that problem with the painfully slow savareese and 3 others. I dont know why your getting all po'ed. the majority of people going against holyfield is because they dont wanna see him take anymore punishment. unfortunately sultans handspeed is just as good as toney and donald and he hits harder. Im going to be watching this fight with my eyes only part open

the majority at ringside thought oquendo won the fight. I didnt see it,,,but thats what I heard. anyway,,,oquendo looked like damaged goods in his prior fight getting whacked out by light hitting john ruiz. that fight doesnt make me feel any better of holy's chances unfortunately

Holyfield is a warrior and because of that he has a chance, but realistically I see Imbragimov winning this one.

Back in the day it would be Holyfield no doubt, but Holyfield has taken to many shots to the head and isn't what he used to be. He's putting a valiant effort into his comeback, but I just think the younger man will beat him. I don't think Sultan will KO Holyfield, but will put some punishment on him and win the fight. I hope win or lose for his health that this is Evander's last fight.
