Holyfield has been in the boxing game for over 30 years and i just dont see him going-out or being put-out any-other way then on top--- With all the historic wars, tributes and tribulation the Warrior has gone through believe me when i say it he will prosper and SHOCK THE WORLD AGAIN, or atleast a few BS.com heads! Just look how his career has played out, once deemed to little to make any noise in the HW division he has notably become the best HW of an era.... Told that he couldnt box anymore after being beat-up, knocked out and banned from boxing, The Real Deal has looked better then anyother 44 yr HW ever.... And for him to even come this far after he stated himself he would retire the HW champ is commendable... I am telling you Sultan Ibragmovi is the base case scenario for The Real Deal to once again rule the division even for a night as the WBO Champ!

We all already know the effects of boxing and have seen what its done to one of the worlds biggest stars (Ali) but are you telling me you would have rather seen Ali next to Cosell or some other announcer then in the ring against Leon Spinks to regain his HW title?

Your belief and spirit if understood......be ready for the letdown.....If Holyfield was'nt already seriously scatter brained from his brutal years in the ring I'd be pulling for him but fact is the guy is going to be a vegetable sooner rather than later and is just making it worse IMO.

I'm saying I'd rather not watch the physical destruction of a fighter who has not shown the ability to still be competitive at a high level. Holy has lost to mediocre fighters, which should have told him to retire. But now after a few bogus tune-ups against unranked guys, he's going to fight for a title.

What do you want, for him to fight to the death? He'll be worse off than Ali if he ever gets Peter or Klitschko in the ring.

I don't want my favorite fighters to have to kill a legend.
