Yeah like Rae a lot of the people against his comeback were Holyfield fans. Of Tyson, Holy, and Lewis, Holy was by far my favorite. But it's 2007, an old man who can't even speak anymore coming back to get his ass kicked is not good news from any angle. And beating Lou Savarese wasn't enough to get you a title shot ten years ago, it sure as hell isn't now.

You may recall we bet on the Ibragimov vs. Briggs fight...are you willing to bet 10000 points on this one? I say Sultan will win.

sultan isnt going to defend his title coming in at a pudgy 230+ again. holy cant fight at a sustained pace anymore and he wont be able to deal with sultans handspeed. Id love to see holy make history but its highly unlikely. sultan is no wlad,,,but he's no savareese or bates either

I would love nothing more than for Evander to shock us all, but he shouldn't even be fighting anymore. I'm genuinely worried for his safety. Ibragimov by knockout.

Oh give me a break! You people need to wake up. Holyfield WILL NOT be killed by this guy. Who the hell has Ibragimov ever fought? Exactly! I'll tell you this right now, this guy has never fought anyone with a tenth of the heart as Evander Holyfield! Win or lose when this fight is over Ibragimov will know he's been in the ring with a legend. My money is on the old man.....

BTW, I gurantee you all these bile spewing Holy bashers have not seen his last two fights. That much I know to be fact because you would not be saying this if you saw how damn smooth Evander looked!

Listen, if Rocky Balboa walked into Moscow and beat "The Siberian Express" Ivan Drago by knockout, then I have all the faith in the world in Evander Holyfield dethroning Sultan Ibragimov to capture his fifth world title.

who the hell is bashing holyfield??? becuase many feel he could get hurt or beaten up is bashing him? did you not see his fights with larry donald and toney? now that he's even older you think he's all of a sudden born again? his last 3 fights were against slow plodding opponents tailor made for him. sultan is far from flawless but he's still a hell of a lot better than anyone holy has fought over his last several fights and he hits harder than both toney and donald. holy wont be able to deal with his hand speed and combinations at this point in his career. Im going to be rooting for holy to make history but I know in my heart its a long shot for him to win and I hope he doesnt take too bad a battering

No ****ing doubt......while the fight was entertaining neither of those two stand a chance at a top ten guy even as weak as the division is at this time.
