The WBO title has been passed from Lyakovic to Briggs to Ibragimov as if no one wanted it. I wouldn't be shocked to see Ibragimov blow it and give the media the chance to convince the fringe public that Holyfield is a champ again, though he doesn't crack any respectable top 15.

If Ibragimov executes a good fight plan, though, Holyfield will pay for the rest of his life. His speech is already bordering on unintelligible. The man's head is just gone.

Sultan will punish Holyfield until his corner throws in the towel......Holyfield has no business in the ring with a guy of Sultans caliber at this point in his career....this is a shame but oh well this is what Holyfield wanted.

Why does Holyfield even deserve a title shot? The last time he beat a top ranked fighter was what, Rahman in 2002? I thought he was gonna fight (that is get killed by) Corrie Sanders.

I dont understand why some people talk about Hloyfield like his some charity case, the guy by all standars was the best HW of the 90's and the only 4 time soon to be 5 time champ.... Ibragmovi is going to be no stepping stone and we will have to see flashes of the Ol'School Holyfield for him to pull this one out and for some reason i think thats what where gonna get... Evander has really been working as of late and had been busier now then just about anyother time he wasnt champ!

Stop living in the past.....I was one of the biggest Holyfield fans ever but he is done and should have quit boxing as soon as he lost to John Ruiz......
